So if directional is such trash, and zone hitting so perfect, explain the pci user who pulled a slider that was 2 feet outside, pretty much in the other batters box, and a again I say PULLED, for a 500ft homerun with a 50 power guy against me...yup directional is trash and unrealistic and zone is perfect and realistic....lmao

Zone hitting is the most unrealistic style of hitting in the game...yes it takes skill, I don't disagree, but zone hitters can reach balls that no directional hitter can reach, and no human being in real life could reach for tha matter...the down and in off the shoe laces hit...the 2 feet outside hit...the up and in almost hitting you in the head hit, a lot of those for homeruns....ya zone is realistic my [censored]...skill yes, realistic hell no.

I don't totally hate moments, I like the idea and that it's a challenge. However, with that said, I think the difficulty (meaning modified sliders) should be toned own a bit. I just had 2 attempts at the yelich extreme moment...in both attempts I had 2 hrs in my first 2 at bats....had 3 more at bats in both attempts I saw 36 pitches in those 6 at bats and never saw a single pitch closer the 6 inches off the plate (I swong at balls to get full counts in hopes of getting a strike which never came). So how can you even try to hit a 3rd homerun when the cpu won't throw you a strike. That's the one aspect that I hate about moments the rng is too over the top

I can confirm this doesn't work. I haven't received progress in, in going on, 3 days now. I have tried every fix that has been suggested and none have worked...the mode is completely effed progression wise and seems like it's a crazy shoot on whether it works or not

I get people wanting realism if playing franchise or RTTS but online no. No sports game has realism when playing H2H. I play zone + analog stride because it helps my timing and discipline and less dependant on RNG than directional. Hate missing beach balls and hanging curves because I can’t hit where the ball’s at.

I wasn't saying that at all...I was just proving a point to the op whose saying directional is trash and unrealistic...I respect everyone's choice on how they play whether it be zone or directional. But to call something trash and unrealistic because you lost to it is rediculous and childish. I'm just defending peoples right to choose their play style.

With that said, I must give you props for combining zone and analog that's some cool [censored]

I'm a bit of both but the swing is definitely a big part of it...which is why I went with TA Bichette, as side from being a blue Jay guy, his swing works for me but also I liked that of the SS options I felt he had the most balanced stats...so you swing first but I do look at stats too

I hate defensive shifts too, but until baseball becomes baseball again...we have to live with it. By that I mean, if pure baseball, which is bunting, moving runners, hitting to all fields, working counts and taking walks doesn't come back and we
are forced to watch the boring shift, striking out look on a hittable/foulable pitch waiting for the homerun style of baseball...the shift is here to stay.

If I am not using my CAP there, I have been using Betts...I hit well with him and he's a diamond defender

I think people in this thread should watch the documentary "Fastball". Using science and applying it to today's way of clocking pitch speeds....Walter Johnson was hitting 97+ miles an hour and the second fast pitch of all time , 107.8, was registered by Feller in 1946....so pitch speed argument is rediculous, guys back in Ruth's day where most certainly hitting 95+ based on how pitch speeds are calculated now.

I got mine to work by going to the stubs section then clicking to purchase stubs. Once the playstation station store loaded, I backed out of the purchase back to the game and my stuff was there

Close the game completely after you redeem each offer the re-open the game that's how i got mine...had to do it twice

It works for me. I've done it a few times when my progression stopped. Complete BS we have to find ways to make the game work as it should. Hopefully you find something. Or better yet, SDS gets it [censored] together and fixes this mess.

So far for me it's been completely random when it works and feels like Christmas when it does lol. I just wish it would get itself worked out (correction f8xed), as I have done all the dd stuff and really on have play vs. CPU left or to replay conquest maps which gets boring fast or ranked which i wait to play until as many of the elite players are higher up so I don't get mashed every game (I'm an average player). All of that stuff gets old real fast so that leaves rtts, but not anymore, not with the broken loadout system not working 95% of the time.

Tell me about it...just had a perfect/perfect liner that barely made it out of the infield lol
