    OK so hear me out

Would you rather have the format we have now that with a free season and paid packs or would you you prefer a more battle pass style system where you pay x at the start of a season and it adds extra rewards to the xp path like increase stubs, special packs ect. SDS could also reimplemet tickets but in a way that COD does it that if you earn enough tickets you can buy the next seasons pass so players who are engaged all season and can put in the time are reward with not having to spend real money on the next pass.

Since SDS has flown the coop on "grind 99" at least find a way to progress over time and just fork over a nominal fee that way SDS doesn't have to force feed us these god awful packs and the can refocus on actually making content and programs

Most games that do battle passes do them incorrectly (in a non player friendly way), so they get a bad rap.
It could be done right and could potentially keep Sony off of SDS back, but its doubtful

And the current iteration of the xp track sucks. Too much lack of balance in what gives good xp and what doesnt, the daily cap, incentivizing playing in bullshit stadiums, etc.

The minute they start to charge for a season pass for a full priced game...I'm out. Quit one game already because of it.

I don't know , I play and enjoy COD with out paying anything extra. My brother tries to get me to pay for this or that , I'm like nah I'm good . I don't need to be the best at cod. I just want to have fun

Its weird to me how people draw this line in a game where monetization already exists. People that pay are already getting more stubs and packs.

For me it would just come down to how good the battle pass rewards tier was. I could see myself paying for it if the rewards seem worth it, but I'd have to see how it's setup first. But at the same time I would not want to see it make the free path any worse. You can still compete online now as NMS, so I would definitely not want any battle pass system to come at the expense of that.

Agreed, but its hard to imagine the free path getting any worse than it currently is.

Maybe 8 should have expanded on what I meant. If the paided portion of the season/battle pass was cosmetic only (bat skins, jerseys, icons..etc), fine. However, if you have to pay for access to the season and/or there are far better rewards (cards, xp boosts, larger stub rewards) then you are into pay to win territory and I am 100% against that form of monetization.
