I barely come on these forums anymore bc SDS does not care what we have to say but my god i just have to vent. I’ve been playing this game since the 989 days so I’ve seen every version of this game. Ever since 17 when they came up with this engine this game has been on a steady decline with this year feeling like the sh*t hit the fan. I know they say hitting works as intended And if so my god do they need to hire a new team. I just played a game in a created stadium where no matter where i threw the ball my opponent would simply foul it off to stay alive, early,late,good it didn’t matter they all found holes. I know this game will never be a true sim but this is not it. As someone who usually plays year round i have barely played 60 RS games which has always been my main mode I just can’t bring myself to play this alot anymore. Thanks for coming to my Ted talk i know nothing will happen just had to vent lol.

I play on Xbox series S has anyone else encountered this? It first crashed right after other player quit. The. As i was entering the next game it crashed again giving me a loss. Makes getting to WS that much harder when the servers playing against you.

So, I preloaded my game on my Switch last night and decided to get things ready for 4/5. My main console is my PS5 and I have the DD version.

I logged into my Nintendo account on theshow.com and after I gave permission to share my information across the platforms, there was a screen that came up to redirect me to somewhere. I have not idea where it wants to send me because I am getting a screen that says an error occurred. Unfortunately, it doesn’t say what the error is.

Now, when I log into my Nintendo account on theshow.com, I just get that error screen. I have to let it time out to auto log me out because I can’t do that in the error screen.

Have any of you had this problem?

Also, I guess I get a gold pack for preordering the standard edition. It sounds like the cards that I’ll get won’t show up on my PS version, is that what I’m reading from you guys? I know the 25k stubs won’t and I’m not expecting them to.

So you will have to chose 1 main account and said account can be linked to the other consoles. But you will lose everything from the other one example if you chose to link the Nintendo account you won’t have access to any of those preorder bonuses you get from the PS. It’s so stupid bc if they would have taken 5 mins during any of there streams they could have cleared up any confusion but you know that would mean being a company with communication.

It seems like it may be an error that they may need to investigate.

It’s amazing that they do not care they should have made this crystal clear during the Nintendo stream instead they kept there mouth shut so ppl would buy the digital deluxe version. This is such a shady bad look for this company.

I did that but it doesn’t work. I linked my PlayStation to my Xbox in 21 and everything was smooth this seems to be an issue with linking the switch to everything. Which is a huge bad look for sds bc they did not mention this at all only that purchased stubs were not transferable.

I don’t think there will be a fix for this. It says (in the fine print) on Nintendo eShop, Stubs purchased on one game platform are not transferable to another. I think includes the deluxe edition 25,000 stubs. My plan was to use up the NS deluxe edition stubs and have all items etc to use on the Xbox and NS but it doesn’t work. Just like the OP said it all disappeared.
Only stuff earned in game will transfers.
I think there was a bit of misleading going on in the marketing.

The lack of stub transfer is not a problem. Just buy 25K in cards on the console you have the pre-order with. Then sell those cards. Your stubs are now considered "earned" and will show up on every console you are linked with.

So can you clarify on that last part. Does your Randy Johnson still show on Switch, but is not in your inventory on your other consoles? I'm still trying to figure that part out and I need to wait for the Game Pass version to go live. If so, have you tried selling Randy Johnson, and then purchasing him back on your other platform so that he isn't locked to Switch? If cards from pre-order packs won't show on other consoles, then I assume you might be able to try that based on my experience with stub laundering.

If I link to my show account nothing transfers. 0 stubs and none of the packs that came with the DE.

If I unlink it. Everything is back that came with the DE.

Graphics are meh on the switch but playing on the go was the idea and playing on the Xbox at home with everything transferring from the Switch. Basically I paid extra for early access.

Did you try unlinking, then opening the packs, and then relinking while making sure the Switch is the primary? That would allow you to see if the cards in the packs themselves would make the move or not.

I had opened my packs then linked the account. What the other guy is saying is all true. If you unlink the account everything is there but if you link it then you lose everything. My thing is why was sds not upfront and clear clear about this? Why on earth would they sell a cross platform game just to lock all the content to one console? Why would anyone spend 100 bucks to just be able to use the pre order cards vs the cpu bc there is no way I’m playing online with how the game looks on switch. I imagine there’s a lot of ppl in the same boat.

When you say everything, do you literally mean everything, or just the cards that came out of pre-order packs? If it was just cards in the pre-order packs, maybe you could sell them all to get universal stubs, and then repurchase on Playstation / Xbox to have cards that can swap back and forth.

If literally everything is truly locked on Switch, and they didn't even post a poorly worded FAQ until the day of launch after people had already pre-ordered, then that is a massive F* up which is unacceptable.

Or option # 3 OP didn't get the extremely vague process of account linking exactly correct, which what caused most of the problems last year

I was able to successfully link my account but once you do it basically restarts everything including all the progress in DD.

If you don't link them in an extremely specific order though it treats the one done wrong as a new account is what I'm saying. I don't know what order you have to do them but if you don't do it a certain way then this happens

Hopefully someone can figure it out bc this is BS. I would’ve happily waited until Tuesday and just spent the money on stubs instead of buying it on switch. I don’t see how sds can’t just have you link the account then provide you with the pre order bonus. That way since you get the content after no more resets.

Everything was lost even cards I got from just playing. If you want to have the accounts linked you have to forfeit everything the digital deluxe comes with which is the most dumb thing they could have done. Why offer it at all.

I don’t think this will work as I was working the market and made “in game” stubs before I lost everything. This is some of the worst marketing I have seen. When i linked my account in 21 everything transferred from my PS account to my Xbox one I don’t understand why it wouldn’t be the same thing this year now that they added the switch.

If this is indeed true and not a glitch then sds straight up lied in the marketing for the game. They should have been clear on there stream and been upfront about this bc i would have never spent 100 bucks on a switch game. I had the same idea as you have the switch version for on the go and play actual RS games on my Xbox.

I got the digital deluxe for switch and everything was fine until i just sign in and realize it’s making me do the DD tutorial thought that was weird until I realize I lost everything. All my pre order cards i got from packs GONE. I’m at a loss for words I’ve been playing this game for years and this has never happened. Hopefully this can be resolved but man Sds is dropping the ball early.

You got the digital Deluxe for Switch? I am not sure what the UI looks like for Switch but try going into where you buy stubs and backing out.

I tried everything but it’s all gone my only hope is if a dev sees this or i can submit a ticket but the link is gone on this website.

I got it since I have an Xbox figured it would be good vs the cpu. Which it’s actually playable i just can’t believe i lost everything including the cards i got from my pre order packs.
