You gave love to all the ballparks, classic and modern. They all look great on my ps5, except one.
One of the most historic and beautiful parks has been done NO justice on the show. Where you ask?The place where Babe Ruth hit the final 3 HRs of his career, one of them a 600 foot plus historic blast, the place where Maz defeated the Yankees with a bottom of the 9th blast with 2 outs in game 7 of the WS, the place Honus Wagner and Roberto Clemente among others called home,

Forbes Field. The iconic scoreboard, the view of the university of Pittsburgh cathedral of learning, the roof in right Field that Babe smashed his final HR over, ALL of these are absent from this game.

Can she get some love in future games perhaps? All the other classic parks are much more detailed. If you can't do the same for Forbes Field just leave it out.

Couldn't wait to play the show on my new ps5 for some online competition!
But they took away the best part of online play, the chess match we call GUESS PITCH!

Some of the greatest online games ever were the ones involving getting inside your opponents head or totally keeping them guessing, meanwhile trying to figure out what's coming next for your own batter.

It is the true essence of the game itself when you think about it.

Please tell me a patch will enable this option in online mode at some point for ps5.

I will be sad until this changes.

After the last update I noticed that on my friends leaderboard, all friends have disappeared. Also ,all my yearly stats have vanished as well.

Universal profile shows no yearly stats. Completely blank.

Ever watch real baseball?
ALOT of check swings. Very little asking another Ump.

And it was way to forgiving every year prior.

The silly part is having to check with the first base ump on every check swing!
Still way too many strikes being called.

I must disagree. Even if you were right, they went over board with calling strikes this year

One thing I have always loved about this game was that the check swing always felt so perfect to me. This year Umps calling 99% of checks as strikes! Anyone else notice this? Can it be patched?
I am playing online so I can't adjust it.

This is how hard it is to hit online, I have been using only veteran settings for hitting and pitching, the players facing me are also using this setting. And still every game ends 1-0 or 2-1.
I love low scoring games but damm it gets boring when every game is like that. I guess we have to go with rookie settings online to get more offense? Sad.

I have been playing this game since it's debut ,many seasons ago!
I have used all kinds of settings under different names and online mode is where I roam. Every so often we get a "DEAD BALL" era season where for some reason pitching is much more dominant than hitting no matter the settings. And sadly the show 2021 is looking like another dead ball season. I love great pitching, but it just seems very unbalanced against the hitters online this year. 2018 was the worst so far for this problem. But this season might be just as bad.

Would love to hear thoughts of other long time players!
