That's what I play on but I use timing hitting because I don't do zone hitting on my Nintendo switch, try timing or directional see if that works for you
Thanks. I’ll give that a shot

What difficulty are you playing on?
Rookie as I’m getting to know the game
I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong. I created a new player and didn’t get a single hit in his first 31 at bats. Flyouts right to the fielders, line drives right at the infielders and I believe i have set a new record for hitting fouls. All the indicators are telling me good contact but I’m not getting any results. Any advice?

For me it's just I gotta move the left thumbstick to the circle and press the random assigned button (on Xbox it's A,B,X,Y). Which is fairly simple and you can always do it before time runs out.
Thank you
My player got promoted to The Show and went through where he met Judge and introduction. I signed out of the game and when I went back in he was back in triple-a. I played thought the remaining games and the season ended. What do I do now to continue playing?

treat it like pulse pitching, hit the button when the circle is small and it will catch it
Thank you
I’m playing RTTS on Switch and positioned at first base. When someone throws a low throw that I have to scoop up there is a red circle with an L in the center. The red circle moves then disappears an I miss/drop the ball. I can’t figure this out. Does anyone have any tips/info?

I play exclusively on Nintendo switch so if you have any questions just hit me up on here and I will try to answer them
Thanks, I really appreciate that. I may take you up on that. Right now I’m spending time in Franchise.

It depends on what you want out of the game. There are many different modes, literally something for everyone.
Storylines is great. You get to learn about players from the Negro League, and there is one for Derek Jeter. You’ll get cards that you can assemble teams with in Diamond Dynasty (another mode). Speaking of DD, that is where you put together teams from the cards you have, play programs to get more cards, play single player programs (or vs the computer), play online against others, challenge yourself against showdowns, play 3 inning games in conquest or in mini seasons.
You can create a ballplayer and get him (or new this year, her) from the minors to the majors.
There is March to October where you play three to four innings with a challenge to meet and try to win the World Series.
There is Franchise where you can take your favorite team and play each game (or simulate) of a season. You control as much as you want, from general manager, to manager.
These are just the tips of the ice berg. Try a little of everything and see what you like. Most of the folks who post here, play Diamond Dynasty online and single player, to get as many cards as they can so they can build powerhouse teams.
This years game has a lot of issues so far, so you’ll see a lot of complaints about it. But, if you can push past those, find a mode you like, you will have a lot of fun.
There are a lot of Switch guys on here if you have questions about the game on your console.
@sbchampsHave fun!
Some great advice. Much appreciated. Thank you.

I am having the same issue. I get a message that says software closed due to error.
I just started playing the game and am having a rough time with hitting. I’m hitting the ball pretty well but every hit goes right to an opposing player- whether is a grounder, long fly ball, line drive, everything is going right to a fielder. I know it has to be something I’m doing but can’t figure out what. Any advice would be welcome.
Thanks for your input guys. This is frustrating. Anything that I do manage to hit is right at someone
I just got The Show 23 and am fairly new to gaming. I’m looking to learn all of the things I can do on the game. So far I have just played RTTS. My team ended the season not making the series on it so what do when the season is over? I guess what I’m looking for is a tutorial of some sort. Does anyone have some advice?
I’m playing RTTS and I’m having difficulty with hits. When I first started I was going pretty good but now I’m having trouble determining when a pitch is going to the strike zone causing me to swing at bad pitches and taking strikes. When I do hit everything is either a pop up in the infield, a slow grounder or a fly ball directly at someone. I’m using the Directional interface and being an older guy and not the most computer savvy I am not sure if I’m using it correctly. Any help/advice/tips would be greatly appreciated.
