I was just about to post this same thing. Every single one of my runs has been scored on a bad throw from the outfield. Hearing Boog say that bad throw from the outfield cost them a run is going to get really old really quick

Why have roof props with lights when the lights on them don’t even work? Seems pretty useless to me. It would be cool if the actually had working lights on the contemporary roof props.

You know that if they can add these city connect jerseys after they are released that they could easily add/update jerseys/caps/whole uniforms that teams wear for spring training and special events/dates

I am pretty sure my extra base hit into the gap is what had my guy score.

My player on third always scores on a poor throw according to Boog. That’s another one.

One of your other coaches must have a negative speed attribute. Even if you don’t see it when you look at your coaches it is probably still there. It doesn’t matter which coach on your staff it is.

Oh I am well aware. I have used it since its first iteration. Back when you couldn’t play a night game with created stadiums even though they had lights. At least they added night games last year. I was hoping they would continue to improve it even if it was just a few things like last year. I was very wrong about that. It isn’t any different than when they added some stuff to it part way through last year.

Can we get an update to some missing uniform items?i.e. updated BP caps for all teams and the Seattle Mariners light blue alternate/spring training uniform. The BP uniforms are completely outdated and aren’t even worn anymore.

The only way to tell is when you are hiring coaches for whatever coaching position in the off-season, find them while searching for other coaches for other positions to see their attribute contribution. So if you are hiring someone to be a pitching coach look for them when you look through base coaches because it will show you different attribute ratings

Make sure you downloaded the correct version of the game since the cross gen version comes with both. Otherwise it should be up at the paint brush where you mess with rosters on the main menu.

I have noticed numerous uniform issues and some missing uniforms. Most of the BP caps are wrong and the BP uniforms are out dated and no longer used. The Seattle Mariners cap doesn’t actually have the all-Star game patch on the side like it does in the game.

Also, where are the Steelheads unis that the Mariners wear on Juneteenth every single year? You would think with the inclusion of the Negro Leagues these unis wouldn’t be omitted but here we are.

Yeah I don’t care about diamond dynasty. I pretty much stick to franchise and when I play a game it would be nice to have all of the uniforms be accurate. Why is it bad to ask them to have uniform details be correct and all worn unis available to be used in franchise mode?

I constantly get the one about how my hit just broke up a no hitter 3-4 times a game. Or how my starter is pitching well enough to snap the winning streak even though it’s me who is on the winning streak.

I might be the only one who things this but, I have noticed that I am getting a lot of lazy fly outs even with perfect contact. I don’t even use the sticks to influence the outcome of a fly ball. Overall the game feels like contact has been nerfed and it doesn’t matter how you hit the ball because the result will be a lazy pop up somewhere.

I will say I don’t mind things being tougher to an extent and I don’t believe that all perfect perfect hits should result in a hit or HR because that is just not realistic. However it would be nice if perfect contact resulted in actual hard outs not lazy fly balls to the middle of the outfield or an infielder (that happened to me not that long ago). That and the bat sounds are just horrendous. I can’t tell what kind of contact I’m making because the sounds are so bad compared to last year. It sounds like I’m hitting a ping pong ball.

There are now specific days in the season that you can scout players and then sign them after the draft. If you pay attention while simulating your season it will give you a prompt when you can scout and what days you can sign players. After the draft you can attempt to sign players every 3 days until august 1st. You also have to pay attention to the drafted players interest in signing because there is a chance they won’t sign.

I tried to create a team today From San Antonio and I get a prompt telling me that Offensive text was detected. So I tried San Diego and the same prompt popped up… how in the world can real life places be considered offensive text?

You might want to check your numbers there bud. Your statement is completely inaccurate. In 2021 there were 7. In 2022 there were 7 more. This year 6 are being added with 3 of them being unveiled so far. So if we math for a second here 7+7+3=17 city connects to this point. With the 3 more that are scheduled for the year that would bring us to a grand total of 20. So how you got your numbers makes zero sense to me.

I think hitting is atrocious this year. I have so many perfect perfect fly outs, 3 hopper double plays, and even a few pop outs to infielders/catcher it is incredibly frustrating. I play franchise and it’s just bad. I can’t believe how poor hitting this year is compared to last year.

I’ve been playing since 2006 and it’s always been they age in the off season. If they haven’t aged yet they will when you get there.

Thank you so much. I just would like to actually make it so there birthdays can be be updated. That's how the show used to be and I don't know why they took that out.

You have another game in mind. As I said I’ve been playing since 2006 and this game updates ages in the offseason. As a Dodgers fan I’d always take note that Kershaw was always a year younger in my franchise due to his birthday being March 19th and the game not aging him until the offseason.

Yeah I have been playing since the first MLB the show back in 06 and it has always updated ages in the off-season and has never had the birthday option.
