At my skill level games are literally decided by who the game favors/screws. How is that making me better? I win a game on a hit in which my PCI wasn’t even touching the ball, I lose the next game because my pitches are being floated over the middle.

I don’t even feel good when I win because I know it’s fake, the game made it happen. When I lose I feel like it was my opponents turn to win. Like seriously, if more players had integrity and called this bs out, maybe we would get a better game. But no, you’ll always have the fanboys and their excuse of “it happens in real baseball”.....THIS IS A VIDEO GAME.

“You lost to a better player”, the famous excuse.

If you can give the RNG hitting a high number to roll in your favor you’ll be able to play through the bs in this game.

For everyone else, winning/losing is determined by getting LUCKY with the RNG. Errors, HR’s on early/Ok, hits with the ball not even touching the PCI, hanging your pitches....it’s all luck and if it rolls in your favor you’ll have success during a game.

Any average player who denies getting lucky during games then comes on here to defend this trash is why we have the same thing year after year.

They’ll nerf this method by days end. Apparently they don’t have anything else they could be working on.

People who lost their jobs and are stuck at home are playing this game and the number one priority for SDS is to push shady pack sales?

Wow, this is a new low in the gaming business.

I have an idea, put out some fun content that doesn’t include draining your stubs.

More players playing....more opportunity for them to make money. Hand out some cheap W’s...boost their confidence....they’ll keep playing, and hopefully spend money.

It’s pure business at this point.

There are numerous videos that make what you said false. The game is garbage and it’s been proven.

Game was playing great for all the loyal fanbase players who preordered and got early access.

Once the game released for all the casuals, all hell broke loose and the game became nothing but a dice roll hitting, trash hit rewarding, good hit nerfing, game controlled pitching, error infested mess.

I realize casuals make up a large portion of the player base but come on, the loyal players shouldn’t have to suffer through bs gameplay because SDS wants to retain casuals by handing out cheap success so they feel good and keep playing.

18 was the first year they really tipped the scales towards casuals and it’s getting worse every year.

And now they’ve gone into hiding, no communication and fake news....the latest patch changed nothing. It was damage control and nothing else.

For a simulation game, this is proof of how far off it is. 94 pitch speed = Perfectly hit = 88 exit velocity = bad simulation = grumpy players = arguments on TSN = banned from TSN

I’ve single handily made multiple members on here hide from me because they can’t win a debate against me regarding how bad hitting is.

I’m actually kinda proud of that.

It’s cheesing when you know the pitching is trash in this game and either it’s a walk or a HR thanks to the game forcing your pitches over the middle. More and more players are noticing this and are exploiting it.

This is a literal explanation of real life baseball

This is not real baseball homie, if I do everything right in a video game, the outcome should be rewarding and the game should not override my input to make it easier for my opponent.

That excuse is the cowards way of admitting they like the game because they can win from pure luck and straight bs. It’s why they defend it and why SDS keeps making it that way.

It’s working fine for certain players so apparently the rest of us are just imagining things.

Or maybe they don’t have the integrity to admit this game is bad.

What’s the point of trying when the game does whatever it wants with your input?

Perfect release pitch = down the middle crushed for a HR

Squared up hit = Good/Ok weak fly out with an exit velocity LOWER than the pitch speed. Impossible mind you.

Errors = what did I do to make it happen...NOTHING, the game made it happen.

Rewarding garbage hits = Time for a comeback rally.

Community begging for improvements = Not a word from SDS.

Game is the worst I’ve ever seen it.

Other guy had 5 chopper singles , 2 homeruns on late ok swings with garbage players. Made me wanna break my ps4. Up 1-0 in a RS game in 5th inning. Oswalt cruising along. All of a sudden against TA Soto I'm missing the high sinker by feet on good release. Of course later in the at-bat another good release gets hung and sails out of the park. It definitely felt like there was nothing I could have done differently with that at-bat. It was like the game was going to give him a run no matter what.

But that's assuming hanging pitches are caused by that, when in reality good release hanging pitches happen all the time, winning or losing.

Thought we were playing a video game in which our input/skill should be what determines the outcome? Not what happened one time in real baseball.

I don’t even hold it. It’s sitting on my desk and I have 1 finger on the X button. I just sit back, watch a movie, play with my dog and sometimes I’m eating dinner just waiting for those beautiful, easy pitches down the middle the game forces my opponent to throw.

I played a couple games using zone today and it was nerf city. Directional is the move and this game will reward you!!

Directional hitters are why this game is grooving our pitches over the middle with perfect release. It’s their only real chance to get decent hits.

Just sit back and push one button when the game overrides your opponents input and serves you up some meatballs.

Ever had the game force an error on you?

Ever had the game reward your opponents bad hit?

Ever had the game hang your perfect release pitch?

Ever had the game nerf your hits?

Ever had the game make your base running act stupid?

These are all examples of the Comeback Logic, anyone denying it is straight up lying.
