I got a DMCA takedown notice today for a tweet of a game clip I captured while playing MLBTheShow19! The tweet was from April 2019. I was able to figure out from the list of artists and songs that it had to be because of the Cage The Elephant song Night Running (Twitter removed the tweet so I had to do some deduction). So be careful what you clip... or I guess just avoid the clip feature that SDS/MLBTheShow itself promotes!

I wouldn’t mind moments as much if the pitching was realistic. By that I mean have them try to pitch to you not Completely around you. Clearly player X didn’t get 2 Homeruns/Doubles/Hits/ etc in a real game with 0 balls in the strike zone. I should NOT have to swing 3-0 at a ball nowhere near the zone just to keep an AB going .... that’s not realistic baseball. At a minimum if a pitcher walks me I should get some progress towards the mission.

With the release of the Summer Affinity cards and all the amazing 3B with godlike powers at the plate and in the field . . . The only thing to do with Chipper Jones is to quick sell him! And I’m not at all saying that because I am programmed to hate the Braves!

I have 2 guys that show on my roster . . . But aren’t on game day list. I would prefer them as bench players to the default player. How to I swap these guys around?

Make sure you put DUPs on trade market first.... you only want to lock in ones marked “collected” . If you have dups of ones you’ve collected it will lock in the un-collected ones first. Cheeky Way for SDS to take a few extra potential stubs for users!

Hunter Pence just lost in MLB Players League with 2 outs in extra innings ... because Hunter Pence dropped a routine fly ball hit to him. Pence got SDSd!

I’ve started playing it because there is no use playing a full game when Diamond fielders play like the original Bad News Bears. I thought I had Gold Glovers but apparently I have Ahmed in LF, Tanner at SS and Mookie Betts aka Lupus picking his nose in RF as the ball sails over his head!

Can always double steal too. Have Locastro on 2b and any Dodger on 1B and your in pretty good shape

I just had a ball bounce off Gold Glover Mookie Betts head... onto his back... back up onto his head... and finally onto the ground. I didn’t realize Jose Canseco was in the game!

They just need to back out the entire 1.08 patch immediately! It’s clear that the “fix” for getting to balls late is what caused it. A software shop should always have the ability to revert to previous version. Watching players lose in the MLB League because of this is frankly embarrassing!
