Get this, two major sports championships were finished this month, the NBA and NHL. The Tempa Bay Lighting won the Stanley Cup and the Los Angeles Lakers won the NBA Title. Now the two cities' MLB teams are now competing, the Dodgers and the Rays are in the world series which is one of the weirdest coincidence in the sports world. 2020 has to be the weirdest year.

I got the game at $25 and I feel I got ripped off. I have been playing The Show since maybe the PS2 days. I love 19 and the gameplay but this year's game is making me hate the game. The hitting timing is worse to compare last year if I see the ball, I swing but it tells me that I am late or early, no matter what the pitch speed is. Everyone kept on spamming 100 mph fastballs and sinkers where you would need ninja like reflexs to hit the ball and even if you time the ball correctly, your PCI screws you up. I am not having fun with this game and I am disappointed.

To get Mickey Mantle, you would need to spend around $300 dollars just to get the most expensive cards or get lucky with the packs. SDS is becoming EA's little brother.

With the Bucs winning, that makes 2 Tampa bay teams are major league champions (NFL and NHL), not to mention the Rays in the world series. LA is also home to 20-21 champions with the lakers and the dodgers. Does anyone realize this? I feel LA and Tampa Bay should have a town rivalry just like new york and Boston.

I predicted that create a stadium will be only for the next-gen consoles and I was right. Gaming companies always do this, giving next-gen consoles exclusive features. I wouldn't mind a less detailed create a stadium mode but to remove a well-wanted feature will disappoint the majority of players who don't have a next-gen console. I fear that the current-gen consoles will not get much attention as the next-gen in this game. For Xbox players, get the game if you like. But for PS4 players, just stick with 20 and wait until you get a next-gen console.

There's the usual MLB The Show commentary team.
There should be at least 2 more commentary teams but from within the San Diego Studios team so that fresh content can be released consistently.

I would like that. As Yankees fan, I would rather listen to Michael Kay or John Sterling but the problem is that it would cost a lot of time and money. I don’t know how much commenters FIFA have but I know FIFA has multiple leagues while MLB is only one

There are some cards in the game, like Mantle, where you would either need to grind a lot, flip a lot, or win a lot and sell the rewards. But you can still field a very competitive team without necessarily doing much of the things I mentioned above. It might just not to be the name recognition cards you might want. I have Mantle and Trout and can get pretty much any other card I want. That’s all with no money spent. Having said all that, and to your main point, I also generally find this game pretty depressing. But it has nothing to do with what cards I’m using. Actually, I guess I’m at the stage that happens after depression. My feeling toward the game is more of a melancholy acceptance of the way things are instead of the sorrow and frustration I used to feel.

This post is how depressed I feel when playing this game to compare last year where I had fun. Ranked season is kinda broken, why is it I facing a high level prestige when I am low level silver?

I am currently 81 in the Tatis Jr Program, I am doing the Topps now collection but that won't be enough. Once I collected them all, I get Winker and do his mission but after that, I am stuck with the padres hr mission. So any good padres that can hit homers?

When playing HOF vs CPU, my timing and placement are fine. But when I play online, my timing is off and placement keeps going down the zone. I used zone with analog and my PCI is inner basic with circles with strike zone 2. Before the pitch, I place it in the direction of the pitcher's arm in the middle of the zone and still miss off-speed pitches. Any Tips to help?

Miggy is not a fast runner so even if you hit the ball hard enough he just manage to be on first.
