This has been known since launch. You have a wildcard slot to continue using one card. All cards come back Set 6.
While it may hurt to lose some cards, have fun using new ones. I change my lineup every 3-4 games, so it doesn’t bother me.
It would be nice for theme teams, to have access to every card, but at this point it is what it is.
You’re just used to playing at Shippett and don’t realize that they changed the elevation. So the “extra boost” you received in your hitting which turned these “non-stop nerfed line outs” into home runs, is gone.
Hitting didn’t change, you just lost your advantage.
Honestly, if anything, I still think hitting is too easy. I’ve given up more runs this year than last year, easily. Part of that is the magnetic pitches down the middle, giving me PTSD of MLB 20.
It’s not great but it isn’t as bad as y’all say it is.
If you don’t enjoy the game, don’t play. Accept that you bought something you don’t like and move on. Not the end of the world.

I don’t complain often about this game. But it’s been rough this year. I’m easily walking more people than I ever have.
It feels like if you miss the “meter/slot” at all, even the tiniest amount, the pitch goes absolutely nowhere near where it should. I’ve never had this issue before. I understand control and confidence play into this. But throughout the game and with any pitcher.
I don’t want to move to pinpoint. I tried it a bit last year and hated it.
Definitely makes this year even more of a pain. Seems like those who don’t use pinpoint are punished.
Sooooo events?
I always think of it as a group of guys attacking a smaller group. When those crazy runs happen I just know I’m going against John Wick. I stand no chance.
90% sure the captain card from Jeters storylines does exactly this.
If a card is stuck behind moments and I don’t “need” the card, I’ll just skip the program. I hate the multiple innings pitched missions. I won’t get the Yordon cycle card for that reason.

PS5 download fully. Game is 83 GB, this years was 60something. So pretty decent size upgrade.
I actually didn’t have much of an issue with this event. Add some guys with a bit of speed for the gap hits.

Honestly looks like a great card. I always love Damon cards in the game.
I finally switched to team uniforms. I spent so much time making mine by hand and it has felt wasted all year
There is a postseason program each and every year. Give it time.
I’d expect Schwarber to be in most lineups as a DH day one.
DeGrom, Judge, Ohtani, and Trout all in AL means I won’t have Big Mac for a good little while. NL will be much cheaper.
I’ve seen that a few times the last few days. Luckily it’s been a ball each time and no big flys.

This change happened a quarter of the way through the season. So hard to say that. Originally only Mantle, Ortiz, and Johnson showed as nicknames in game.Changed about 2 weeks later to include all cards of the series.
I’d imagine companies have a clause in cover athlete contracts which prohibits one person from being on multiple covers in the same year.
Imagine in the old days you’re a parent shopping for your kid and don’t know games too well. You want to buy The Show with (example) Joe Mauer on the cover. Instead you buy MLB2K with Joe Mauer on the cover. Oops.
I guess closest to todays era would be Jazz on The Show and RBI. Could be easy mix ups.
