I think we all agree there are people who need to lose their jobs at SDS.
At this point, if I was the owner, heads would roll!
Then again I'd also test the [censored] out of my OWN product, stress test and make sure this wouldn't happen EVERY YEAR in the first place.
Think the biggest issues are the people in charge NEVER use their own products.
This gets old!

Microsoft has the better network performance BY FAR and away! It's not even funny, I have owned both, your PS network is trash as is your GUI for PS.
How was all those data breaches for PS again?
It's not Xbox players, it's the [censored] poor programing, servers (this part is huge) and lack of testing for this game. That falls on SDS.

You basically have to bash them into comments. I found it hilarious that deserved a response while they don't answer everyone else.

Dude yeah sometimes I rag on you casuals and DD noobs but this post I was actually being real, the core mechanics are there, just needs a slight tweak to make fast balls faster. If you actually play on Legend every year with pitch speeds on max you will notice it right away...I basically notice fastballs were a tad slower after 3 at Bat but breaks and snaps on offspeed stuff like curves and knuckecurves and splitters were different for the better. I know I'm in the super minority with this game but I'm hoping SDS could patch the fastballs a little faster, 2019 pitch speeds was on point.

F1 racers dont drive automatics for a reason.

Ok, a few things there.

1. just cause you play one way doesn't mean others have to or want to. The point is to have fun.
2. Directional is no different. Your RNG suffers the higher the teir of difficulty.
3. You guess pitches don't you? If you do then you know EXACTLY where the pitch is.
4. your anology for F1 is off, they use magnesium peddle shifters. It is push button shifting for speed and precision. You cant outshift peddle shifts, I'd like to see anyone try .

Basically, no... just all of that is a no.

It did. In the waaaaaay back machine called NES there was a game called Base Wars! It was basically Robots or Cybernetic Humans playing Baseball.
It worked flawlessly. Cyberpunk and The Show... not so much.

I remember base wars!! That game was absolutely ridiculous!! Lol. Games were like 35-30. You'd fight on the basepaths. Classic saturated NES game

It was sooo much fun as a kid! You could upgrade your robots and give them "powers". As you said, games were 35-50 .
Ahhh, happiness in the nostalgia .

Amazing time to be a kid. The dominance of the NES, Saturday cartoons, and we went outside and actually played with neighborhood kids!!

You KNOW when you are about to be screwed by the CPU. I can tell it right away and say "ohhh I'm supposed to lose this game now?"
I have NEVER seen the CPU miss an exchange from the glove to the hand to throw out a player on second. Happened twice to me thus far.
I havent seen them pop-up a bunt attempt.
They can throw out a 99 speed 99 steal Kenny Lofton with a 50 arm for catcher.
They just start hitting everything no matter if it's outside the zone.
Your players will start having multiple errors in a row.
Your pitcher will start to throw in the middle of the plate or completely goof a pitch that was a good release.

It's kinda funny that the RNG plays a HUGE roll in this game and they call it "simulation" and "realistic".
I just take it with a grain of salt and go to the next game in which I am the decided winner.

Every time the servers crash, during the length of time, I spend some time writing bad reviews for it everywhere I can.
I suggest everyone who feels the same do exactly this. In the long run it will cause them to lose money. The more it goes down, the more people should use their voice to warn new players and others to not purchase or bother.
Tell the consumers what is wrong with the game and hit their "pocket books". Truly the only way they will fix their games.

It's just a gimmick to sell a poor product and milk some (f)suckers for all they are worth... as if the pandemic isn't bad enough.
If I could actually play the game, I wouldn't be here bashing the [censored] out of them .

I will be 44 in a few days. I do pretty well. But I started playing DD back in 2016, after also playing pretty much every baseball video game in my life, and didnt become a decent hitter until about halfway through 2017.

It also seems there are issues with Xbox as compared to Playstation. More and more Xbox players are noticing the difference? I'm Xbox myself.
I dunno man, I'm usually an excellent gamer (30 some odd years of practice ) and I can't figure it out. I just can't bring myself to go lower than veteran and it's not like this is a new concept for baseball or something I haven't seen. The zone hitting is exactly like sooo many baseball games before and like my previous example of Ken Griffey Jr waaaay back in '98.

The main thing he mentioned was make sure TV was in gaming mode. Or if you play on a monitor some monitors have a gaming mode too. I have had my TV go out of game mode before and I tried to play and it is night and day difference.

Also if you havent played the game before you will have to practice some. Arent gonna pick it up and be good in a week.

I've played every baseball game I could get my hands on since RBI Baseball (Nintendo) waaaay back in the 80's, I'm 37. I've NEVER had issues hitting till this game, on any baseball game I have EVER played. The zone hitting is exactly like Ken Griffey Jr. in 1998, which I loved, but it's [censored] near impossible now.
I get the fact I'm old, but I still have perfect eye sight .

I'm back again and this time for pitching.
I have tried analog, pinpoint, meter and classic.
The error in the pitches is absurd even with a 90 controll pitcher.
From what I have seen there is no point in pitch location as you can pitch to the right side and it ends up on the inside left of the plate.
Try pitching with Bob Gibson, go on and try it.
