Whatever fanboy, I get why they got rid of the exploits for the XP, I never participated in those anyway. But they removed almost all incentive to play March to October. For how long a single march to October takes it, is absolutely not worth it without the double points.

I'm not the best at this game, but I'm certainly not the worst; 691 rating. I just can't get right when it comes to doing showdowns.

I didn't view the march to October points as an exploit, that was just a reward for your time. It's not like getting 25xp for a home run in the derby or doing some magic retro game setting and getting points without even playing. You really did feel rewarded for your time.

PREACH. I usually cut them a lot of slack because I love the franchise so much, but this is unreasonable and unacceptable. Even when the servers are up, just to place a market item is taking a minimum 10 seconds per order. 10 seconds doesn't sound like a lot until you sit there and actually count it.

I usually try to keep my criticism to a minimum; but objectively speaking, this really is the worst version of online play that SDS has given us.

If you didn't think SDS hated us, you got your answer last night.

Oh I totally agree. When I was waiting the last several months for this game to drop I was hoping for the best and preparing for the worst. I was destroying an Xbox player today in ranked seasons, it was 8-0 in the third and the server booted me and gave me the loss. Not to mention the incredibly slow screens. It's unplayable right now, I jumped over to Cold War.

I've been with SDS from the beginning, but this has by far been the worst year. Way worse than Show 18.

Can't believe it's October 9th and Network Error is still a thing.

I played on an old Vizio for the last 4 seasons and couldn't even use Zone hitting because of the latency. Fast forward to this year and I got a brand new 65" LG with GAME mode and instant game response and it's like being in the sunshine after being stuck in a cave for 4 years. I'm killing it. Make sure your game mode is turned on. If you don't have game mode I would suggest getting a TV that does (or a monitor.)

Same. I've been playing this game for years and every season I try to make the jump to zone and I just can't seem to do it. Mostly online I will use pure analog, but every once in a while if somebody's coming down the middle a lot I will switch back to directional.

I thought we got double affinity points on purpose because it was what they wanted. I have seven March Octobers going right now and it's all I've played the last couple of days and now I'm not going to play it for another second.

So in other words the same as it was before the double points bug was introduced a week ago.

Yessir. That's correct. Back to the dustbin for the MTO.

I somehow managed to ground into 6 double plays against Charlie Morton in the last Showdown I tried. Two of those were perfect perfects.
