I know it's not baseball and it's definitely cheese .... but if you get a guy on third base against cpu and you absolutely need that run, you can take a 3 step lead and they will throw over 3 times and balk you home .... I have only been picked off maybe 1-2% of the time this year.

Taking a lead on first base is an entirely different situation though.

I used to love pitching with Dan Quisenberry ... KC could use more love ... bring him back

I got that draft #3 pick Twins Catcher in the free vault pack ... and needed 2 more draft cards for the Zobrist voucher so that was nice

What if there was a draft mini season where it loads in your collection as the draft pool and then the 30 MLB teams draft a full roster, including yourself as a selected MLB team.

It feels worse getting the chocolate bunny pack (where it only gives you one player) out of the premier 3 player pack .... i think that has happened to me 3 times in a row now

but if you make it to 3B and take a 3 step lead, they will balk you home like 95% of the time vs pick you off

How do we now have 3 Tony Fernandez and 3 Willie McGee cards but just 1 Fred Lynn

Love the first 2 players, but Lynn is my favorite new legend this year.

I have to think about it a little more. Pujols would mean I would need to purchase a ton of cards including probably every single diamond player in the NL. It would also mean I would need to bench Berkman or Beltran.

If I go Smith then I can save some stubs back for when they somehow make the next 99 Cardinal expensive (99 Gibson)

... Pujols has to be on the Mount Rushmore of Cardinals I would think ... I just did a quick pricing and it looks to be around 130k for every non Shohei national league diamond ... cheaper than most Cardinals

Showdown feels very different to me ... I finally got around to trying the Max Scherzer one yesterday and I saw I needed 6 runs or something and had 30 outs ... I can do this ... nope .. I think I had 3 hits.

So may squared up balls just at the outfielders.

for help playing on GOAT ... I discovered if I take a 3 step lead on third, the cpu will balk you home almost every time.

The one pack that I almost always buy is the one ultra pack (except the all star over which had no value right away) and I got stupidly lucky. I pulled May, Hope and a 98 (I forget which one now). Today was a good day that made up for caving and buying the flash sale garbage lol.

I pullled May and Hope too in one of those 5 card packs. Sold both for like 110k. Hopefully they will go down. Look to be already
