Are there multi-point daily moments? I don't remember there being multi-point moments in May. Am I missing something?

It's going to be more of a guessing game and less of just pure reaction. Ya know, like real baseball. You're going to have to start "looking" for pitches or "waiting on" pitches. Cheating inside or outside, Starting a little early if you're sitting fastball. Maybe taking into account what kind of hitter you're using i.e. pull or push? Do you even consider what counts you're in for you're approach at the plate?

I'm just asking. I don't know your baseball I.Q but if you're going to play Franchise on the higher levels, you're going to be using average and below average players with small PCIs.Or even pure power guys with small PCIs. You can try solely tracking the ball, but the game isn't designed that way. There's a "guide" under the settings menu when you're in-game. You might get some insight as to how to approach this game.

Alright, I'm pretty sure I understand what you're talking about, but I'm away for a few days and I'll have to wait to get back to the game. However, would you mind wording these 2 issues in a concise manner as possible so I can add them to my list. I just don't think I have a full understanding and I don't want to get it wrong.

Well, every year SDS leads us to believe that they fixed all the grievances we have with the mode. So, I buy the game every year hoping this is going to be the year Franchise is going to be AMAZING. Of course in reality, there's always a ton that needs to be fixed and the "waiting for the patch" game begins.

I'm beginning to think this is a rope-a-dope tactic to squeeze out more sales. IDK, but I haven't bought a Madden game in 7 or 8 years and a FIFA game in 5. NHL is my weakness but, MLB is the next for me to boycott.

Nobody has fun. Nobody enjoys lining out when the game says PERFECT. Nobody enjoys fooling the hitter and giving up a home run. Sure it is partly my fault because I foul off borderline/decent pitches more then I should. But I don't swing at balls that are in the dirt, or above my head. Nor do I swing at pitches that are a good foot off the black (east/west). And these type of pitches happen way to often. It's not that pitchers are "bad at hitting the zone" they're trying to avoid it because hitters are using "launch angle" to hit homeruns and elevate the ball over the shift. So, they're staying away from getting too much plate. Even though there are more HRs there are more Ks and more BBs because of this tendency.

There's been a different approach to hitting, so there's been a different approach to pitching and yes, things are different compared to 2004.

If it's the latter, I don't think they're going to be adding anything anytime soon.

This is where major league pitching is at right now. Trying to dent the black and elevating and dropping balls out of the zone. There's a lot of strikeouts and a lot of walks and the default settings do a good job of recreating this IMO. However, it's on the higher difficulties where the sim is best. Specifically, HOF. ALLSTAR is ok, but HOF with competitive settings using ZONE and PINPOINT is the bees knees right now against the CPU.

That being said, playing MOMENTS on the lower levels is a pain in the [censored] because the pitches are a lot easier to read. So, it seems like you're waiting forever to find a good pitch. You have 2 options IMO: 1. You're PCI is big enough to hit balls out of the zone, so get to crushing it, or; 2. use directional hitting and wait for the RNG ring in your favor.

Hmm, I thought I noticed the CPU PCI was larger than normal when I was playing conquest. I wonder if yesterday's patch had anything to do with it and if today's addresses it.

Well, to be fair, the developers (MLBTS, NHL, Madden, 2K, etc.) themselves have sucked the fun out of the games by trying to herd and con players into spending extra money on their casino simulation disguised and a sports game. So, what goes around comes around? You live by the sword you die by it? Some [censored] like that.

I mean I"m not putting a rubber band on my controller to walk in runs. Nor will I use Chronos to play for me. In fact, I'm completely staying away from anything online. It might be fun 10 percent of the time, but the other 90 is nothing but scamming and conning and rage and bull [censored].

They need to get rid of the 13 pitcher limit, right now there’s no way to even have realistic rosters. Such oversights have become pretty typical unfortunately.

I believe they're not going change that because the "13 man limit" has been waived for the 2021 season. Meaning it's the standard rule and this season is an exception due to Covid.

I don't think we can ask them to "fix" it. It's really not a broken feature. We could ask them to implement it, but I don't think they're going to do so.
