I have 3 straight losses just because the game freezes after I have to select a “No” or “Yes” selection in the options doesn’t matter if it is a defensive shift movement or a substitution… just doesn’t let me choose, and the timer goes down. Have checked that my controls are working properly… Has anyone had a similar issue?

My game log shows that I was playing at Legend difficulty

The thing is that I have played 4 straight games without any kind of success… the PCI is really small and even with good timing and placement, I’m missing pitches in the zone… I have checked my settings and everything is perfect. I’m going to play an event game to see the difference, but it just feels like I’m playing in a different difficulty

Could somebody help me understand how does the RS difficulty works? I was about to reach the CS series rank (800) and suddenly the difficulty adjusted, and the PCI got really smaller, the velocity of the pitches and the whole hitting is changed, like a whole different game playing in Legend against the CPU

Maybe try to find a good Custom League of Live Series Roster. It is the most strategic mode regarding baseball by competing against real users. Other than that, Franchise in high difficulties.

I really enjoy Showdown... I just go directly to the final boss, picking the players at my advantage (all lefties against the righty). I tend to wait till I get two strikes, but I have noticed that it is almost impossible to get a walk even when the pitcher's stamina has vanished. So yesterday I did the new one from the Charisma Program against Castillo and just was sitting on the fastball. I play mostly Ranked and Franchise (later in the year), but I prefer Showdown rather than Moments or Conquest.

People will hold the R2 button while they are hitting …this prevents the pitcher from starting their delivery. This causes the movement to hang on Pinpoint or even Analog, which then will often result in a meatball or something out of the zone.

Exactly. I’ve been saying it for years…..and I’m not the only one. If you need a second just call time. SDS just doesn’t care bro.

You can only call time once. And if they took r2 away people would just pause.

Many people pitch unrealistically fast, and some pitchers have cheesy rhythms, and the game doesn't require pitchers to come set. r2 counters this.

I'm not defending people who spam it. But I am saying that what we have now is likely the best solution to an impossible problem.

If they take away r2, pitchers should have to come set.

You haven't offered any evidence of actual cheating. Sounds like you think you're better at the game than you actually are.

You should see the amount of cheaters in the discord chat for cronus. There is utube for perfect pitching and hitting. Inside the discord channel eveyone is sharing. Modded controllers.

Yesterday I got the one from the WBC pretty hyped to use him

In my case, I love the idea of competing against good teams through Ranked and if you like to grind like crazy then you will still have better cards (the great 99s).  I just grind the WBC Program and have a pretty decent team.

It is... Yesterday, I hit a hard grounder to third with a speed of 105 mph and the runners in third and first just were standing there without moving... I just reacted to get the runner on third back and the guy threw to first after it, getting the out because we couldn't react jajaja it felt real because the ball was hit so hard that you couldn't know if it hit the ground or was a line drive...

How cool would be having real videos in the game... like something similar to MVP 2005 (Best baseball game ever). Imagine getting Arenado in a pack and get to watch a small video (30 seconds or so) of a rival coach, manager or player speaking about him like "is just unbelievable with the glove at third" mixing with some great plays and homers or if you get a legend from a specific year highlighting some moments of that season with stats...

I have read about the topic and the general opinion is the Infernos for Kontrol Freek and for the controllers the PowerA with Cable (if you are ok with that). There is also another item called the "Precision Rings", with the majority of players recommending the green ones (the softer sensitive wise)

I have heard good things about these Kontrol Freeks helping with the PCI placements and improve your gaming. What is your opinion about it? There is one better than the rest? (Xbox)
