Ranked Season Difficulty

Could somebody help me understand how does the RS difficulty works? I was about to reach the CS series rank (800) and suddenly the difficulty adjusted, and the PCI got really smaller, the velocity of the pitches and the whole hitting is changed, like a whole different game playing in Legend against the CPU

Up to 700 you’re playing allstar. 700-900 on HOF. You making CS hasn’t changed the difficulty unless you matched up with someone over 900 and playing on legend

Probably playing a World Series guy.

The thing is that I have played 4 straight games without any kind of success… the PCI is really small and even with good timing and placement, I’m missing pitches in the zone… I have checked my settings and everything is perfect. I’m going to play an event game to see the difference, but it just feels like I’m playing in a different difficulty

The game difficulty is so *** backwards. Only thing that really changes are speed of pitches and smaller PCI’s to start games.
There should be one difficulty for Ranked Seasons with standard pitch speeds. SDS should instead focus on swing timing penalties.
I throw a cutter low and away to righty, get them to swing early “off balance” out in front, and somehow it’s pulled over the left field wall for a home run hahah. That happens more than once a game. There is no skill in pitching other than trying to dot corners. Gone are the days of actually getting hitters off balance.
That’s the primary reason why I stopped playing

0-199 Vet
200-699 AS
700-899 HoF
900+ legendIf 2 people playing are on different Ranks, the game defaults to the player with the higher rating.
Dont let your search bar go above 900 if you want to stay off legend. Or at least done let it wonder any further than its starting point.
