You have to adjust at hitting with him pretending he's a smaller guy. He's just slightly smaller than Chipper which messed me up for a bit too.

Last year if you hit on the chase pack you could choose either the current reward or the previous rewards. I hit on the chase pack 4 times last year and each time I was given the choice of previous rewards or the current reward.
Ah got you, so in theory that would mean the supply of the chase park cards should keep increasing (meaning lower prices long term).

Well considering I’ve opened around 50 chase packs and never got anything above an 85 I’d say he will stay around the same price until he is useable at least. Pretty rare to pull one or anything good honesty this year

It looks like mixed results with Shohei (Chase #1) and Tatis (Chase #2).
How do the prices of players in Chase packs react once they're no longer the chase pack reward?
Wondering if it makes sense to wait on buying Mantle until after he's out of packs on Friday.
The stub sale has also inflated his value (was going for ~340/320 for a few days beforehand).

Days of Play sale should be the indicator going forward. I think it usually falls on Memorial Day weekend, but this year it was a week later. The second I saw that sale announced earlier in the week, I knew the game itself and stubs would be included. I started flipping like crazy and doubled down on investments.
The market hasn't changed much yet, so I would recommend grabbing any cards you really want now before the masses wake up and do the same.
Do we think the market shifts a ton? The player market in general seems kind of down compared to last year -- wonder if more people have shifted away from the game already.
Happy I got a Harper for cheap last night!
He's been a slightly worse version of Chipper for me. Still nice, but the ~350k Stubs price was a bit steep

All the above makes sense. This is the first time I've seen the market go down after a collection drop. I personally invested in golds near quick value that I don't foresee dropping anytime soon, so limited risk. Was hoping to be a stubb millionaire about now, but looks like I'll have to exude some patience..... sigh
Same boat, invested with basically no risk but still disappointed. Definitely had dreams of finishing the live series collection this weekend

I’m a little confused about how the market tanked - don’t you still basically need 80+% of the cards per category?
Also, as long as you’re buying cards near quick sell there’s no real risk. Best to hedge and have investments spread around (like if you were lucky enough to be sitting on a stack of Brett’s yesterday).

I’m 1 for 4, 3 Golds and a Machado. The Machado chase pack came from my 9-day login reward pack, which was cool at least.

I just got the Inferno’s - they’re really nice. Switched over to a Power A controller which has been perfect for pinpoint.

I bought all of the pre-order ones recently for around 18k. Already got Hoffman from the event and was planning on taking Morgan once I get to 100 points in BR.
But have no where near enough stubs for Delgado. Guess I'll just sell off the cards for double what I paid for them now

We wouldn’t know about what packs would be in the new program until Friday either way right? So selling sometime between tomorrow and Friday (or later if there’s no new packs in the program) would seem to make sense
Yeah. Just have to decide if you want the stubs now or if you want to wait to see if they go up/down.
Definitely dumping Hoffman since he’ll likely be in the rewind pack in the new event tomorrow, but will wait to see what happens to the prices of the others.
Are we positive that they'll keep Rewind packs in or could they take them out because these cards will now be needed towards a collection?
I honestly don't know either way, I'm just going based on what I've seen others say online. I would be surprised if this was the first event they removed them from.
