I have already collected Lou Brock at 230 cards. I was at 244. Now I only have 218. I don't even have enough cards to get Brock but I already got him. LOL

I changed my skill set and then changed it back and it seems to be working now.

I got the Silver skill set but now the progression is stuck. None of the stats to progress towards the gold skill set are registering. The "progress" screen after each game is blank. It has been like this for about a week.

Luckily I have the Xbox version and the PS5 version. I loaded up the Xbox version and it showed that the server data and the local data were not the same. I loaded the local data so I now have my original RTTS guy from about 2 weeks ago. Still lost alot of grinding but way better than starting over. But even after loading up the current Xbox RTTS guy, when I go back to the PS5 and get file from the cloud it is the new from the beginning one. Definitely a bug here somewhere. Guess I will have to play my RTTS guy exclusively from the Xbox.

It shows all the stats from my years in the MLB but the skill sets are all gone and his ratings are all back at 30 and I am back to the two way cheesy slugger skill set. My diamond perks still show up but I only have 2 slots and all skill sets are gonzo.

I have a one way SS I have been grinding and have all the diamond perks and skill sets. I chose "start new" and created a two way player. I played one game with him and now my original SS that was really highly rated is gone. The two way player shows up even if I load save files from a week ago that show SS only file. The cloud file and ALL my save files all have the two way player when I load them up? How can I get my original guy back. I have been grinding that one for hours! lol

I gave him all diamond equipment and he has common fielding at catching for a secondary it just doesn't click well. Look at Bellinger he's primary OF, But when he goes to first he has gold, Same with Soriano 99 card, Diamond in the outfielder Gold on the infield. Even though it is listed, cap has no secondary. You might get away with it elsewhere, but currently no cap can play catcher (not even as a primary). I use him there when I play the cpu, when I need putouts to level him up, but would never play him there online. You're not doing anything wrong, and no amount of equipment or perks will make him a catcher. It's just bugged, and until SDS straightens this out there won't be a great catcher played by cap.

I have 3rd baseman with Iron man and he plays catcher fine. Never drops it and it is secondary.

I have the exact same 3B. Ironman and he plays C fine in my RTTS season in the minors. C is the 2nd position listed in his card but when on my DD team "secondary" is blank and he drops lots of pitches.
You say yours catches fine and is "secondary". Does you DD card have C listed as secondary? Or are you saying he catches fine in the minors in the RTTS season??

All the secondary positions seem to be messed up. I have 2 different ballplayers. One started as a C and after getting the Ironman archetype I can't play C because in DD it makes me play 3B now and secondary position is blank on my DD card. Catcher can't catch very well. Drops lots of balls right down the middle. I started a second player and he started as a 2B, now that I have the silver archetype it switched him to CF and even though 2B is his second preferred position, on my DD team he is listed as a CF and secondary is blank again. Very frustrating. Can we at least get a confirmation from @SDS that it is FUBAR and they are looking at it??

I had Power vs Righty's advance much farther in one game that it did before.

Thank you for the update! Loving the game. I do have a "ballplayer" question though. During my minor league season it still shows SP as my secondary position even after telling them I only want to play catcher. My loadout is Diamond Iron Man which has 3B as preferred position but Cather is 2nd in the list. When I put my guy on my DD team, secondary position is blank and he still can't catch very well. He drops balls behind the plate that should be caught. I can't find a loadout that will put Catcher first without going back to the bronze "slick fielding" which defeats the purpose of leveling my guy up. Is there a work around to make C show as secondary???

Yes I have the same problem. When I use my catcher from RTTS on my DD team it shows him as a 3B and there is no secondary position where catcher should be listed. He does ok on my RTTS team at catcher but on my DD team he drops every other pitch. The only way to fix it is to go back to the bronze "slick fielder" archetype. The diamond archetype has him as a 3B and catcher is listed 2nd which should make catcher his secondary position I would think.

Same here. He works fine in the "RTTS" games but as soon as I put him at Cather on my DD team he drops just about everything even though his defense is 99. 3B is the first position listed and C is the second.

I just logged in from the Xbox logo and then I received an email that told me that MLB the Show had connected to my Microsoft account.

I very rarely complain because despite its flaws MLB the Show is always a game I enjoy but fielding is horrible and whatever they did in last patch did not fix much if anything. This MLB player tourney is putting a horrible light on it. I realize some of the defensive stuff is people not putting their fielder in the correct spot but most are just bad animations. There are line drives where you can't even move your guy because the computer locks in an animation as soon as the ball is hit and the ball goes right by the fielder. I know these things will be fixed but it seems since this was a problem last year and the devs were getting the bad animations during the dev tourney that it would not be a problem by now.

I backed out without advancing after the message and went back in and it is fine now.

What would cause this to happen without a power loss? I started a Tampa Bay MTO last night, I am on game 74 and got the error. I have not quit any game and played continuously from start to game 74 in one sitting. Get on today and get the authentication error.
