Kaiju Takeover is a very misleading name, to me. I thought there would be Kaiju something in every pack. As it turns out there is Kaiju something in very few packs. That is not a takeover in my mind. It should be called Minor League Uniform Takeover.

I find in Ranked that I win roughly 40 - 50% of my games. In Events it is 20 - 33%. Seems almost everyone I play is a guru at hitting and usually pitching as well.

I do Events after I have all Conquests, Ranked and Battle Royale done, and only if it helps me in the latest programs. I usually try to get to 5 wins, if possible.

I wish good luck for all of you that you match up with me in Events. I'm just trying to get PXP for the latest program.

This was bugging me before but now my progression (that shows after a game) shows mostly team affinity 1 which I have complete. I want to see my active team affinity 2 progression on that screen instead of ones I have completed.

I did send this in to customer support.

Oh so don’t use a feature given to us by Playstation? If you don’t want people to message you, simply turn messages off.

I use it all the time! For GG messages like a nice person.

I like getting that kind of message! This year hasn't been good for that kind of thing. I kind of wish there were some preprogrammed messages to send during a game, like "great play", or the one I would use the most, "you are way better than me".

I would like a way during the game to send a "good pitch/catch/hit" "great game" "That was fun" type message.

Wow! Every time I check if PS5s are available there are none. How am I supposed to buy one? Luckily some people's parents bought them one.

I didn't play at a fast pace. A game or 2 a day. Funny, I never faced perfect game Randy at all in my 250+ innings in Ranked.

I get to use him in the new Conquest but probably not at all when I tackle Battle Royale next. (I am not selling him.)

Hope there is a new Ranked Seasons soon (December 12th or 14th maybe?) so I can use my best team.

I got to about a 668 ranking somehow. Very unusual. Then I started playing people much better than me and dropped me down into the 400s.

Last game was a bunter. Just befuddled me until I got my defenses right for each of his players, and even then he was still better than me. I enjoyed the challenge of trying to counter his tactics.

It was in a 15 pack of cards from the TA2 Mini Season championship bundle. Mantle came up and now I am stuck between keeping him (I already finished the AL East TA2) or selling him for big stubs and getting cards to get to 260 in S1. I have about 220 cars there now.

I am leaning to keeping him because it might be months before I can buy him. I think the buy now was around 350,000 this morning.

I didn't want to complain about the 6s and 8s because I thought it was my eyesight being not so good. Is it ok to be happy that it isn't just me?

MLB The Show invited me to do a couple of surveys about the story lines. For each I got a Thank You pack which were delivered the other day. First pack was your basic stuff. Second pack, a diamond player card. Live series Ohtani!

I was at the point of only needing Ohtani, Betts and Acuna to finish of the NL. I have the AL done because I pulled Trout about 2 weeks ago.

So I say thank you to the Thank You packs!

As for the surveys the only thing I complained about was how hard the defensive moments are for me. They take me many, many, many retries.

I remember when I wasn’t a good hitter. You know how I got better? By swinging the bat.

I am really happy for you. (Really!) I will swing the bat and sometime make contact. Please don't think I bunt all the time. It is a strategic decision. If the game is tied or I am 1 down I might use it.

It's actually a legal play, it's not even against the unwritten rules. If I am up in the game or down by 2 or more I swing away and usually miss.

This event is really fun for me. I can actually hit the ball sometimes! I am a terrible hitter, as some of you who have beat me have kindly sent me personal messages to tell me that I can't hit.

I gave up 5 in the first inning in one event game, got 4 in the bottom of the first. Went on to win 8 - 7. What a feeling it is to hit online. Now I know how all you good players feel.

By the way, no lead is safe in this event.

For the last few weeks I've been saving stubs to buy Trout, which would leave me with just Ohtani, Degrom, Scherzer and Acuna to buy.

I just had enough but needed some to finish off Battle Royale (to get to 100). I just got to 95 which got me a 10 pack. I got Mike Trout! I mean, that's the ultimate. So I bought Ohtani instead and finished off the American League.

Continued opening that 10 pack and got my first ever Chase pack. Wicked exciting. Got live series Gerrit Cole.

Now to finish Battle Royale and move on to the new Conquest.

I did that 50 pack thing today. First one, Live Verlander and Carlos Delgado! As much as I wanted to keep Delgado I could sell him and get my money back before opening the 50 packs. Put him up for sale. Started opening packs, got Ohtani, sold him for 220000 so I decided to keep Delgado.

Abuzz with excitement, I went and did it again! 2 chase packs, both gold players! Ha ha!! Stopped there.

Metascore voted Chipper the #8 best third baseman and Lou Gehrig is the #4 first baseman. I do go by those ratings but what’s hall thoughts on this? I’m definitely giving them both a shot, I used Chipper in Showdown and he hit a Bo,b first at bat. His defense stats look a little iffy though

I am one of those terrible players and I appreciate getting a hit/run scored/win once in a while. I hope there are many of us happy about it.

Wow, I must say I did not know that existed. That solved my problem. Thank you so much. I don't do Road to the Show too much.

I moved from MLB The Show 19 to 21, I figured somewhere in between they changed the check swings. Causes me much grief. I strike out a lot. Trying to adjust now.

How can you look up the opponent's record while in the game? And I always want to see the record and am disappointed when it doesn't show. Why is that? And it's only the Ranked Season record. I'd like to see an Events record as well as Ranked Seasons record.

I like the Team Affinity. The only problem I had was since I finished the Twins very early on that I don't use Twins players anymore as I am still working on every other team. I wish there was more to affinity to encourage me to use Twins players more often.
