What was the last year version to offer pure analog hitting?

So, I bought the ‘23. And swing location wasn’t able to be controlled with the analog stick, you had to use a button or it took two moves basically

Does anyone remember “Pure Anolog Hitting?” Only had to use the right stick to completely control your swing. Will that ever be available again? I prob won’t ever buy this game again without it
