Trying to not be disappointed, but I am still trying to wrap my brain around why Bob Gibson gets a 85 breakout, and then Dane Dunning gets a 91 FS. Something doesn't feel right about this. Dunning might never post an MLB ERA under 4, let alone a 1.12.

They are celebrating 100 years since the start of the Negro Leagues. Wouldn't it be great of SDS helped celebrate this by giving us some these great players. Wouldn't this also nicely align with BLM and help today's generation get to know these pioneers of the game?

I think it is really dumb that they made this card. Adam Wainwright's hitting attributes are better than any of the Willie mays or Honus wagner cards in the game. Kind of a joke if you ask me.

With the universal DH rule coming for this year, and possibly here to stay, it is time to give us the DH.

It is early so I think we are all trying to take it all in. But I would like to hear what everyone else likes and doesn't like. Lots of changes so far.

Likes-
Gameplay, so far this has been smooth and in my limited playing so far no weird fielding glitches.

Program XP path combined, I like this I think this will allow for a scaling up in the rewards as the season goes on. No more getting live series diamonds two months after you have grinded for every live series diamond.

Legends- Lots of legends that are in the game early on.

Dislikes-
New menus, I find it hard to find what you are looking for and not very intuitive. I am still open minded on this one.

Collections no XP and few stubs, confused why this happened, always been a good source of early XP and stubs. Not much incentive to do any early collection if you don't have the whole set.

Topps now- not sure why they went pack to selling the packs, here is hoping they don't go back to the old way on the Monthly awards program. Last years Monthly awards programs (especially the last two) were awesome.

Theshow site, how do you not have this ready for the early access? Biggest let down for me is I can't starting flipping or collecting from work in my downtime.

I have to agree the Affinity packs are [censored], we are all going to end up with lots of dup cards that we can't sell or exchange. Allowing people to sell or exchange duplicates but keeping at least one copy seem to make more sense. I am hoping they will adjust this in the game, otherwise stop giving us these packs. What is the point?

Website has been terrible lately, dashboard is down, squads is down. Slower than usual load times.

Isn't there supposed to be a new event today? I haven't seen anything about rewards or specifics on requirements (other than non-playoff teams).

No XP for collections is a big miss, I actually like them tying the XP path rewards into the program. I think one issue with the XP path last year is some of the rewards you got in diamond were not very useful by the time you reached diamond. This way they can scale up the reward paths as we go.

Shane is a legend and not a flashback. I think Merrifield is a safe bet.

Events got even less interesting then they already were...BR will now be less rewarding without the program packs... Online play sounds less appealing then ever before. Kind of a buzz kill after everything else we have seen.
