It was my first game of the new event, and it was a bit of a slow start. A couple of hits gave me a 2 run lead, but no dingers. 3rd inning I hit a long flyball. It's at the wall. The outfielder looks up and...

I know what you're thinking. No, it's not gone from the stadium. That would be cool since the new program requires a lot of homeruns from a variety of different card types. No, it's gone from the boxscore because my opponent dashboarded.

Remember that time SDS shipped the game with Field of Dreams being completely and utterly broken even though it worked fine last year. And then they left it like that for months, before it was magically fixed the day a stadium locked event at Field of Dreams started. Almost like an intern forgot to push out a patch after the first week or so and they finally caught it. Wouldn't it have been awesome if SDS had pushed out a patch today with some kind of miracle solution for dashboarded homeruns? I guess that was just too much to hope for.

I know I can play the CPU to get the homeruns will likely end of doing that to wrap things up, but you get stars for event wins. It would have been nice to grind both parts of the program at the same time, but I have a feeling it's going to be difficult to hit homeruns and win at the same time.

Anyway, that's the end of the rant. Not really mad. Not crying. Just disappointed. I don't expect anything to change, but misery loves company so maybe this will make some of you feel better since we are all going to be seeing a lot of it over the next week.

What if we downloaded the app after submitting the Tech Test application?

Looks like a negative.

I submitted the Tech Tech application when it was first announced, and I had no idea that I needed the Xbox Insider App. I downloaded the app yesterday, and at first nothing for MLB The Show was showing up and I thought I was out of luck.

Later in the day it showed up under "Insider content" and I was able to join the 21 Tech Test. I think you should still be good if you are selected.
