I'll just add this in case it helps someone. I am switching to Xbox for 21 and wanted to sign up for the Series X Tech Test. It was only giving me an option for PS4 or PS5. I thought maybe the 50k Xbox slots were already taken or something so almost signed up for the PS5 test. Then it occurred to me to sign out of TheShow.com and try the link again. Now I was able to select the PS or Xbox tests. This may have been obvious to everyone but it wasn't for me. So if you're not seeing the option for the Xbox tests, sign out and try again. Cheers!

I have a PS5 and Series X. I have always used Xbox as my primary system and had a Playstation just for The Show. The Show is by far the game I spend the most time playing each year. My gameplan is if it releases on every console at the same time I would buy the Series X version. If it releases first on PS4 & PS5, I would get the PS5 version. If it releases first on PS4 with a later date for the new consoles I would probably hold out for a next gen version unless the progress would transfer over. I was still rocking a 'day one' PS4 so even The Show 20 looks next gen to me on the PS5. I imagine it wasn't a big difference to people who have the Pro, but it's night and day for me.

I've been waiting all year for a high diamond Edgar. I was also hoping for a Mariners Olerud card, but at this point if he gets another card it won't be M's.

My time stamp is 11/30/2020 12:28AM PST, haven't got him yet. Based on qa463467 post I'm surprised I haven't yet.

I think the obvious choices for cover are Tatis or Seager. In either case they both have top shelf 99's already. We have way more 99's in this game than any of the past years, I don't think any pre-order bonus card could be better than what we already have. Maybe they do a choice pack as the pre-order bonus. Something like that Replay pack, maybe with World Series/BR rewards?

The Baez cleats were challenge of the week in the first week or 2 of the game if I remember correctly. All you had to do was play it and you recieved them. Looks like there are 2 gold cleats that you can't buy in the market. Not sure if these are the ones you need, but the Nike Alpha Huarache Elite 3 are acquired in the 7th Inning Shark Conquest map.

I think it will be like Goose and Jones last year. Got a 90's as early in the year as a boss, their SS didn't hit until the end of the year. Expect Snider, Oswalt, Chipper SS after season is over.

Thankfully most of the ones I am interested in are the ones that I have 100% because they had a good TA2 reward. I have enough cards stockpiled to exchange for Buhner immediately. After that Orel, Smoltz, and Davis because I have the TA2 complete. As a kid Mattingly was my favorite non-Mariner so I will get that card even though it does not compare to other 1B options. Brett and Killebrew look good but I'm only at 30-40 points on those. Interested to see how easy it is to "catch up" as they hinted at on the stream.

I agree with this. I doubt any prestige cards will be required, as long as the only way to acquire them is by playing online. If they added an offline grind for the ruby cards maybe I could see needing a couple. But as it sits, too many people that spend $$ don't like to, or have the time to, complete those online grinds. They will want to give people a reason to buy stubs.

If he had died in an accidental aircraft crash like Kobe or Payne Stewart, yes. If he was in the second tower on 9/11, yes. If he was saving his neighbors kitten who was stuck in a tree but lost his balance, broke his neck and died, yes.

But when you get drunk and coked out of your mind with Kenny Powers at Shaboom's and decide racing boats is a good idea, killing yourself and committing manslaughter, no way.

Yeah, I was worried about it falling lower and just trying to cut my losses. I am 1 card (Arenado) away from Mantle and have been scraping my stubs together. Got up to 75k before this flash sale. We'll see where I'm at after all 4.

Aren't those prospects "no sell" anyway? If so, won't hurt anything to lock them in for the 20 points.

Easy call for me, bench Judge. Mantle stays in center. That Rickey card is CF but he was primarily a LF throughout his career and his arm plays better in left.

I did it late last night and got credit. Play vs CPU from within Diamond Dynasty.

But silvers go for 500+ and most bronzes (and even some commons) go for 200+, so I got about 50000 stubs back. I agree with this. The past couple years it seems the only time it's a decent value/risk to rip 50-packs is the first week or so of the game. Every day that goes by it's a worse deal. Just make sure you go to your inventory right after and get sell orders on everything you don't want.

I went with Mondesi due to speed that you could have on the bench to steal a bag all year. All the others have, or will have very soon, better options available at their position.

Yeah, definitely seem tougher to get this year. Plus with not being able to exchange cards that are locked in, most people won't do/get those automatic 2 or 3 points per day for exchanging cards.
