They're on the lower tier of starting pitchers that are 97+. Control is an issue with Ryan you will hang offspeed or leave a sinker middle middle.
Johnsons problem like the guy about said is really only 2 speeds. If the change was around 75 with the curve around 85 he'd be gross. Outlier sinkers generally dont move as much and his doesnt feel much different.
Both will dominate if your opponent cant touch heat, but there are still better flame throwing options (Wood mainly, though 99 Feller I can confirm is gross.)
You pretty much need horizontal movement to be competitive, cutters, sliders, ect and neither has it in their pitch mix.
