Was listening to the Rays broadcast just now talk about throwing people out on steal attempts and they mentioned that now throws to second base are supposed to go to the right side of the bag so the tag can go straight down.

We know at this point that MLB The Show catchers do not do this - they still throw right at second base - so curious if they’ll ever reprogram that

You won’t actually make it to 9 IP in most games - innings pitched missions only count full innings by the same pitcher iirc

@Onix_Savage22_PSN Fried’s mix will probably be different - I’d guess he doesn’t get a cutter at all because he didn’t throw any that year

@JDHalfrack_PSN OP is talking about opposing pitcher stamina - when they fixed the issue for our pitchers, they didn’t fix it for CPU pitchers for some reason

@StinkyMcPooter_XBL I mean he’s a penciled-in starter for a contender and is maybe the primary reason that team felt comfortable telling Bo Bichette to kick rocks. I’d say he’s pretty desirable to people in the know.

@SavageSteve74_PSN he doesn’t even get on that much - he’s become a ‘swing at everything cause I can hit anything’ guy so no walks either. so it turns out the OBP is below even a lot of the 150-plus-K guys

@StinkyMcPooter_XBL I agree with some of this but if Luís Arráez still had doubles and triples in him - or had shown a history of being able to field a position - he wouldn’t be ‘the least desirable player in the bigs’ or whatever. if you can’t hit anything over an outfielder’s head or get anything to the wall idc how little you strike out cause the contact just isn’t worth much. (he’s never been a bag stealer either.)

@Leonetti08_XBL yeah it’s cause you’re in bronze - also only the first six games count. every other game after that is like a pack or something
