Okay… am I missing something here?!?!

Due to people glitching the game, SDS has decided to place an XP cap on all players rather than fix the glitch?

I am hoping when they say “through gameplay”, the XP cap doesn’t include collections. But even still, I grind over 35k XP a day when new innings come out. Now I will be playing much less.

How does SDS not see that making a decision like this only causes it’s player base to play the game less or even quit playing the game altogether. Whoever made this ludicrous decision needs to be fired immediately.

Fix the glitches!!

Adds vvSHARKYvv to scouting report: can’t hit sliders and will chase out of zone.

Perfect example is people that grind the conquest map (myself included). You can grind the entire map in one day (which is easily done I might add) and is way over 35k XP.

Anyone that grinds stubs and xp the right way (I honestly grind the conquest map daily) and parallels players on the regular, knows that 35k XP cap is way too low.

But in any case, a cap on XP makes no sense. It is placing a restriction on 99.9% of the player base due to a small number of people glitching the game.

XP is XP….. no difference between modes. 35k is easily reachable each day, especially in RTTS. I’m expecting this XP patch to be retracted…. There is no point and this makes no sense.

Seriously… someone please give me a valid reason that justifies this change… other than a small set of people exploiting/glitching the game. Because every solution that runs through my head is to BAN people and/or fix the glitches.

Like I said in a recent reply to a similar post… you should be glad that you are at least getting XP. When developers decide that a “solution” to a problem with people cheating is to cap XP for everyone, they decided on the easy way out and are refusing to actually do their job. This is apparent when these other glitches and crashes occur on a routine basis. There is a problem behind the scenes at SDS that they are unable to hide at this point.

You guys keep using the words “fix” and “SDS” in the same sentence…. Not sure if you have realized this or not, but SDS hasn’t “fixed” anything in quite some time.

Michael Brantley is currently hitting .418 for the month of June…. Wouldn’t be surprised if he is selected

To climb the wall you have to be running towards the wall and I hold R1/RB and he will scalle/climb the wall.

If SDS’s intention was for people not to play the game until we receive further clarification, they have successfully accomplished their goal.

I’m not logging in and playing today until the 6th inning drops unless it is CONFIRMED that XP is reset at 12 noon pst.

Not all perfect hits are smashed? You do realize every ball hit on the sweet spot on a bat is smashed. Usually a hit too. Not a lazy 300' can of corn.

Not true but this is a debate that will never find a conclusion because half will argue one way and the other half will argue the other.

I think what the OP is saying is that a perfect pci placement shouldn’t result in a can of corn animation. I agree that not every perfect pci placement should result in a hit, but that out should be a line drive somewhere.

Same here… not sure what I need to do to play this moment. As of right now I get that same popup then the game freezes.

Eckersley and Hoffman reach 99. Chapman does not.

I have Chapman at 97 and he's only parallel 2 does he really not get to 99?

Currently I have him at parallel 4 and his rating is still at 97. He will be parallel 5 soon but he isnt gonna jump from 97 to 99.
