Cliff Floyd was my favorite Marlins player growing up.
I feel like Moises Alou could probably get a postseason card for his 97 World Series performance. The rest of the playoffs weren't great but he crushed it. Livan could probably get one too for the rest of the playoffs that year
I don't disagree with you. I feel like finding a completely appropriate playlist is almost impossible these days. I know Pressure by Ari Lennox had a heavily toned down version on the Show a few years ago, but the regular version leaves little to the imagination.
I both agree and disagree with you. I think they should continue with the Negro Leagues since they deserve their respect, but I absolutely would love to get more Storylines from other players. I only started watching in 97. I'm sure there are kids on here who don't remember Sosa/Big Mac. I'd love to learn more about players from the 30s/40s/50s, etc that I've never heard of.
They could even do some intro videos on some of the Cornerstone players, so we could learn more about them also.
^ I know people have their opinions on Jose Fernandez b/c of the things that caused that accident, but man he was different. He was like the perfectly built person to save the Marlins franchise, but gone way too soon.
I know Josh Bell isn't a super exciting name, but I always liked him when he was on the Pirates. Once the Marlins got him, you find out that he seems like one of the really good guys in the league. Not exciting per se, but I'm sure he has tons of fans from any organization that he played for. At this point, he's played for a ton of them lol
At this point, Nick Kurtz better retire as the GOAT because SDS has certainly made him out to be one.

lol I played it yesterday for the first time in a few days and then it locked up when I finally went to change the lineup. It's a guarantee that it happens every time that you play.
I haven't played this conquest but this morning, I went to play and I had the issue where I didn't have enough hitters in my lineup and it wouldn't let me play anything on Diamond Dynasty, so I turned it off and played CFB 26.
I like MLB the Show. I will continue trying to finish all the collections/innings, etc, but it's ridiculous that you still cannot play it whenever you want because of stupid issues like that when we are like 2 weeks from the end of the regular season

Moises was my first "favorite" player. The first time I watched baseball was 97 WS. Of course, he and everyone else was traded months later lol
I think I'm going to ride it out and finish the season playing the show. I had never touched Diamond Dynasty prior to this and feel compelled to complete the collections (without paying). I might take a break next season. We'll see.
You can definitely squeeze in a 99 Longoria card. I lived in Tampa when he hit the HR to sneak them into the playoffs. That was as clutch as it gets and he was a stud at times

Haha, I went to FSU undergrad, so they are and always will be my first team. FWIW, the two Tigers, we had in my masters program were great and the only other people who were rooting for LSU against the Gators when we watched that game lol.

It happened twice to me this morning. After it happened the first time, I restarted xbox. Jumped right back into the lineup and it happened again. Absolutely ridiculous.
I kinda see Larry Walker on the right, but that's a guess. It looks so familiar, I can't place it for sure.
That Jakob Marsee card is going to be fun. If he keeps hitting, the Marlins may have actually found something.
^ I feel like they could've made cards for Jeff Conine and Luis Castillo (2B for the Marlins in the 90/00s, not the current pitcher) for being inducted into the Marlins HOF.
It would've been cool to put Jeff and Griffin in the same lineup. Jeff could've been a card with a rating in the 80s. Castillo had zero pop, so there's a limit to how good they could've made him.

Stowers has been amazing. I remember talking [censored] about him starting opening day because he had such a terrible spring after playing poorly last year.
It's such an incredible turnaround and he deserves all the accolades
