Wasn't players weekend just bats this year? May be unpopular, but I think bat skins is the type of thing that belong in microtransactions and not in programs. Wouldn't be opposed to more incognito cards from the old players weekends though.
Well I am all for players weekend content and LL program the players weekend has become boring

That’s right, but I wonder how that could translate into a captain for each team. The pipeline content would have been perfect.
I think captains should have been progressively better as year went on but they wouldn’t be able to sell those players as cards later

He may have homered in his first three at bats in MLB, but in my lineup he’s 1-10 (a bloop hit) and hasn’t gotten the ball out of the IF in any other at bats.
Of course, I’m using him in the Field of Dreams Conquest. I suspect his card has been nerfed because (Waves hands in the air) “Conquest sliders” 🫣
I’m even worse hitting wise in mini seasons and the cpu seems to be good at times in them

I’ve been playing Diamond Dynasty for years and if you grinded enough, you could eventually earn the best cards.
This year feels completely different.
For me to get Carlos Beltrán would be near impossible without shelling out a ridiculous amount of money.
I added up the cost to complete the remaining collections and it came out to roughly 8.9 million stubs!
I’m not asking for every card to be free. I’m asking for the game to be worth the time.
If someone has completed invested hours into DD, they should have a realistic path to earning elite cards through gameplay. Right now, it feels like grinding has become secondary to buying packs or accumulating millions of stubs.

that change made me say the hell with the online rewards path i just bought the cards as the value decreased. the packs i never got much good out of to be honest. the 15k xp seems to high in my opinion just like the 250k for the buxton. not worth the online aggravation when people quit after you hit 2 HR's in the first inning. I am not that good i usually don't win a lot but at least the 9 innings i can get through along with the other missions.

This 2026 season, the 40th anniversary of the '86 team, has got to be the 2nd or 3rd worst season in franchise history, with the payroll & expectations.

@nymets1987_PSN people use the best swing and players rather than their favorite players cuz they want to win. Which make sense but also you can stand to lose a game or two it’s really not that serious.

If the problem was IP, then they could have made it 5k pxp for 5k in the program or 15k for 15 or 30k in the program. They easily could have made it equivalent. They deliberately chose to make it significantly less rewarding. This year is just disappointment over and over and over.
They used to have the individual pxp missions but again guess it allowed us to move through too fast
