You have the right to play the game as you wish , but for me personally I like sets and seasons and hope they keep it . But if they don't I'm sure I'll enjoy the game just as much. I'll adapt to any system they come up with .
I like the idea of sets because I used to collect 800 POTM and not enough of a different series now it’s total cards which helps me
I love when they ask for certain characteristics like under 75 power and u can’t filter that out when search for players

Oddly I have always gotten my scouting report packs and got nothing this time
Millionaire packs were a big waste of time this year
New so it will be very interesting hopefully current players or retired players without a 99 so far my only request

Yes I was doing the missions in the halloweek and WS maps and then did some moments and all of a sudden I was at 92 points didn’t even need all the moments thankfully

Absolute L that the Showdown is mandatory. Hoping SDS fixes this. The whole point is to let people play the way they want. Giving players options, even if it takes a little longer. Making a showdown mandatory to finish a program isn’t right.
I'll be honest, I believe when they say play the way you want that they were only ever referring to the main XP path since XP is gained everywhere.
I failed the Showdown on my first attempt. I chalked it up to me having a bad night. I don't know if I will try again. There are multiple programs that I have not finished because they would require me to play in ways I don't really enjoy. I don't expect them to change the program for me though.
The thing is this is a game and it's supposed to be FUN. From some of the comments on this board in the last couple of days, mandatory showdowns for some people aren't fun. I'm not asking to ban showdowns. Just don't expect me to go after them every time.
I don't know why they're now going away from a good formula that worked (you CHOOSE between a Showdown and multiple missions) and now making them mandatory.
Makes absolutely no sense, especially at this point in the game cycle.
All they need to do is add a repeatable use Halloween cards pxp
