My thought exactly. Seems a heavy price for a 92 overall card. Like someone was saying, I think they will open up more avenues to get these cards. Maybe a flash sale of ONLY Spotlight cards. I think that would suffice. The topps now cards are brutal pulls when you shell out 30K.

A. You don’t need them for Beltran or live series.

B. You can buy them on the market.

Live Series and it’s not close. I have completed both. Rolen is not that good. I like Headley better. I feel all things considered, switch hitters are the best. BUT, Rolen has that right handed swing where he crowds the plate. If you hit well with guys like Mays and Aaron, you’ll like him. I prefer swings like Mookie and Trout who just seem smoother and more relaxed (Mays even seems to grip the bat hard) and don’t stand on top of the plate.

TBH, I have enjoyed Honus Wagner more than Rolen.

I’m baffled by the card market right now. I did expect this one, but not by so much, so fast. I also expected Yelich and Stargell to be more expensive off the get. I mentioned in a separate post that Dibble DOUBLED in price since Rolen collection was introduced. Market is odd.

Since Rolen was introduced, cards, especially in the All-Star collection really went up in price.

Dibble literally doubled in price. Was this a Chase card? I don’t understand why this card specefically ballooned. Any insight to this?

So double pxp and twitch drops ends today and the ratings update is Friday May 2nd. Is there any live content this week? Also, any word on when Multiplayer Program 3 drop starts?

I think it’s a good sample size. If you RAKE with a card over several moments, I think you get an idea if the card is amazing, okay, or brutal. Especially vs the CPU. And I don’t seem to be the only one saying his swing is kinda crappy. The card should be amazing to average seeing he’s the collection reward for basically every card in the game at the moment.

Rolen is either horrible, or the moments are nerfed somehow. Card is trash so far.

I don’t expect anyone too big. No Cobb, no Bonds. I would even be shocked for Canseco.
My guess. Best case scenario is Buster Posey or Albert Pujols. But I think it will be disappointing, someone similar to Rich Aurillia or Tony Tarasco level.

Stadium creator should be fixed and we should have Rays current field. I don’t get it and SDS won’t address it.

I think it’s ridiculous that you have to successfully complete, not 1, not 2, not 3, but 4 of the same showdown to finish this collection. That’s one of the stupidest things ever SDS. Makes ZERO sense. “Play your Way” -BS.
What if I hate showdowns? There needs to be another way to get these cards. Showdown exclusive 4x isn’t right.

The fact the Negro League Storyline coincided with his removal from the game doesn’t help. Maybe I was the only one who noticed that. I’m sure it was just coincidental. But yes, Stump ruined his reputation. It’s not fair. He is one of the fathers of MLB. First class Hall of Famer and I really wish SDS and MLB THE Show would celebrate him. But if his family won’t give the rights….

Why is this player NOT in this game? Outside of Bonds (numerous reason he’s not in) he is the most outstanding player (records and history wise) omitted. It’s not even close. They mention his name throughout the game in Storylines. He’s immortal. SDS, put him in the game. It’s not right.

Thanks for the feedback on this. The most helpful thing was to “do all the squares”. That’s what I was really missing! Got rewards first time.

What difficulty do you play on?? I used to grind mini seasons and play on rookie at blank canvas. Rinse and repeat. How in the world are players farming on diamond quest? I went straight to stadium after beating all the challenges on the way. I played on all star risking the show pack I had earned on my way…..only to win the game and get 1 free show pack. WTH?!? If I have to play on GOAT to grind, I would just play online. So I’m not sure how any players are benefitting from DQ unless you are playing on high difficulty and again at that rate, why not just play ranked?

It looks like prices are holding steady, but I got to think there will be a lot of packs opened this weekend which would drop live series diamonds down a little. My guess is Sunday evening will be the peak to see where it goes.

The second game I played vs CPU, I did get a reward. It was a bat that I actually didn’t already have.

You get a reward for just a game vs CPU??

You're supposed to receive a post game reward card after playing a full game vs the CPU.

I haven't played a vs CPU this year but I didn't receive any post game rewards for a play vs CPU game in 24 or 23. I submitted a ticket for it, and they actually responded and gave me a solution for it. It worked for 1 game and then didn't work again. Never heard back from them after that.

So what was the solution they gave??
