I've never been less excited for an XP Reward Path and it's only innings two.

That's a worry.

Doesn't feel at all rewarding with so many single base packs as 'rewards' (enjoy the 60 stubs from dupes, lads) and less cards than in previous games.

So, how much did you lose by?

This is my first year and frankly, i'm not nearly good enough to do these moments.

My only option to complete it is to gain 800k PXP.
Even with double PXP it's a prohibitively long grind.

That's the equivalent to P5'ing 100 cards from scratch.

I doubt there's more than a handful of players with 100 P5s all year long, but we're expected to do it from Oct?

At a time when SDS needs all the players it can get, this will only drive away players like me.

Great idea.

As a first timer who is nowhere near good enough to complete any of the moments, the idea, this far in, of spending 100+ hours blindly grinding for a few cards is not at all appealing.

I'm fortunate to have every card in the game and excess stubs, so was really looking for something engaging to keep me interested, instead it's driving me away.

I want to keep playing but why would I, or anyone else in my situation?

A rare misstep from SDS (i have adored my first year playing) and one I hope they correct before what's left of the player base walks away.

If you're [censored] like me, don't risk losing him.

10 times now finishing DQ with odds varying between 35% and 94% to get Santana and still don't have him.

I can't do it anymore, but I will curse whoever at SDS who decided to not only make this the hardest Extreme Program but also put needed rewards behind a broken game mode that relying on RNG.

I have loved this game this year, but devoting more than 15hrs for literally zero reward is utterly ridiculous, and frankly, makes the game unplayable for me anymore.

It's a shame SDS got this one so wrong that it either infuriates or simply drives away many within their already dwindling player base.

There's a lot of liars around.

I'm NMS, have grinded my [censored] off and I think I have about 20 teams done but i'm still well over a million stubs away from finishing it, and that's factoring in that i pulled Shohei.

Yeah, not a fan of where they're going with this stuff.

Last year we would get the player for winning the mini seasons, now 11 wins on all-star? Pass.

So, you want 90% of cards unsellable?
You want every single best card locked behind real money only packs?
You want to spend $10k real money on one card in the middle of the cycle?
You want 'content' to be literally just packs for sale?

@TheBigPapa55_PSN Thanks for that. I don't like DQ given the glitches, but did play it today.

Didn't get either player, but did get the Chase Pack (which is useless to me given i have so many stubs I could never use).

It's just demoralising as someone still learning the game.
I don't need the cards, but I still enjoy grinding the game and with content slowing down, I was hoping this would be something realistic.

I'd say most who have played all year have a ton of unused stubs and most cards in the game.

It's a tough ask to expect people in that situation to devote a huge ton of time into grinding for these cards.

I think SDS missed the mark here, sadly.

800,000 of it.
Even with double PXP that's 11,500 HRs on rookie (factoring in PA stats too).

I can't believe SDS thought that was realistic.

Coming from other games, it's so weird having all these leftover stubs and no use for them.

For those up to date with programs and collections, it seems like we haven't had a thing to spend our stubs on in quite some time.

Will there be anything else to use stubs on in the next month or so?

I'm very fortunate to be sitting on well over 3M stubs, even more fortunate to have all collections complete so have zero to spend these on.

I wouldn't even contemplate trying this.

Not only would I not be good enough, it seems super complicated (I saw one guy who got through 29 wins only to not have any fans for game 30).

Hard pass.

I can't even be bothered opening all my free packs, so won't be ripping 50 boxes.

I don't understand the mentality of packs/stubs rather than new cards.

Surely most who are still playing and willing to grind such a task would already have all the cards they need.

I've loved mini seasons but with nothing to spend stubs on, what point is there playing? So i can end with 2.5M stubs I can't use rather than 1.5M?

They have bonus collections where you get 10 points for collecting each of Arenado, Harper, Ahn, Gregorious and Bregman.

Clicking on it says 0/1 Collected with no option to collect.

Going to collections, I have each of these cards, and had three of them already collected.
I got no progress.

I locked in the other two, and still no progress.

It's 50 points (so half the program) and i can't access those points despite having collected the cards.

This on top of completely broken and laggy menus, and not getting rewards for mini seasons and it's a pretty miserable experience to date.

At what point will this game not be utterly broken?

EDIT: So, when you open each bonus section, you need to scroll down which will open the collect option.
Terrible design.
