Fwiw, I have had zero issues with market restrictions in the app since the throttling occurred.
I only really use it to sell dupes, but slowness and downtime aside, no issues at all.

So, we'll get a third PCA in as many weeks?
Wish we'd plan releases better to avoid so many dupes so quickly.
@Ditka06-_MLBTS The fact that you assume i'm an offline player speaks volumes about your mindset (and ego).
I completed the 75k program.
That doesn't mean that I don't have empathy for those who cannot (or choose not to) play online.
That's the joy in empathy, you can look beyond what affects you personally.
Perhaps give it a shot, it might just help you with your existing need to belittle and abuse anyone who doesn't play the way you deem to be the correct way.
@sbchamps17_NSW I'd choose a holiday over this game, too.
Middle of winter in my part of the world though.
@Onix_Savage22_PSN Thanks, mate.
Good call on Griffin.
I did really well with him in my only game I used him in.
Forgot Gelof, he's really solid and i needed some more Aths for my theme team (I'm weird, I play with many different theme teams to test myself).
Time for some positivity.
Now that we've had a chance to play with some the new cards released yesterday, what are your thoughts?
Which cards have you liked?
For me;
Kahlil Watson - I'm a sucker for an underrated Topps Now card, and this one fits the bill.
He can play every position but first and catcher, he's got a great swing, some decent speed and some really good power on both sides.
Sam Antonacci - Whilst he's probably a platoon bat given his lopsided stats, those stats against righties are ridiculous.
120 contact and 94 power with a great swing and more than enough speed to steal bags and a ton of quirks.
Jacob Latz - Maxed out hits per nine against both sides and a 118 K/9 against righties make up for the less than ideal pitch mix.
Loving him as my closer.
Jeremy Pena - He is a doubles machine for me.
The super high contact both sides and almost maxed out clutch means the dude just finds a way to get on base.
No secondaries and only solid fielding makes him less than perfect at short, but the contact god with excellent speed makes him well worth using in my view.
So, who are you loving so far?
I think the online vs offline arguments are silly.
Of course they are.
Play the game how you enjoy and stay in your lane.
It's not a hard concept, but some seem to want to claim some superiority as if the way they play is more valid than the next person.
It's not, they're just desperate for some validation from a video game and it's sad.
@Ditka06-_MLBTS So, to surmise, all your complaints are valid, everyone else's are not.
The arrogance is astounding.
It's been remarkably quick and smooth for me since the update.
I'm on the other side of the world to most of you, though.
@Apolloz_99_MLBTS Different forum? WTH?
@Dolenz_PSN I wouldn't worry about him, man.
He goes out of his way to be a [censored] to people unnecessarily whilst attempting to look down his nose at people who don't play the game his way.
He's clearly doing this in a vain attempt to feel better about himself.
@x-814-x-MAFIA-x_PSN At this point you're whining more than they are, dude.
You've got your hobby horse, i get it, but every single time someone mentions their dislike of the game you whine.....about people whining.
Please give it a rest, man, it's more tiring than the stuff you're whining about.
That really sucks, man.
Those experiences are super frustrating.
FWIW, it's been remarkably smooth all day for me.
Anyone else had this issue?
For the last few days I have been unable to quicksell any cards in the app, getting 'This version of the companion app is no longer supported' error.
I can still list cards for sale and buy cards, just cannot quick sell.
No updates available either.
@JDHalfrack_PSN Have they not lied to us before?
They are absolutely better than the other gaming companies, but that does not mean they are beyond reproach.
You started out by effectively saying we shouldn't criticise them, now it's the style of criticism.
If you want to praise them, feel free, but the reality is that many within the community are genuinely upset and frustrated by the many issues within this year's game and they have every right to express that frustration.
Also it's the middle of the day, people should be working - or if you're a kid... well then, I guess the behavior makes sense.
It's pretty childlike (and insular) to assume that your time zone is everyone's time zone.
Shock horror, it's actually Friday where i live.
Your tiny mind is blown, right?
@grimmdogg23_PSN Exactly.
The whole 'i'll defend this corporation at all costs' from some is certainly an interesting hill to die on.
@grimmdogg23_PSN Haha.
I'm pretty [censored] grumpy right now but this made me laugh.
@Sarge1387_PSN Thanks for the background, man.
I've heard a little about the good old days, but not in depth.
I switched from 2K to find a more user friendly game and whilst The Show fit the bill (and is still better), even in my 18 months here, i've seen a huge diminution in many areas whilst there has been an adoption of some 2K-esque money hungry initiatives.
I'd love to find a game that's reliable, user friendly and scratches the sports game itch I have since I was a kid, but alas, I think The Show is still my only option.
@samguenther1987_PSN I've never seen a company, in any sphere, shoot itself in the foot as often and as spectacularly as SDS do.
I've only been around the game for 18 months suspect there are some good people there being hamstrung by some horrendous decisions from above.
I would guess these good people are as frustrated as us.
