Yeah, i believe it, any time i see someone say that it doesn't, i just think it is a monitor user who doesn't want more people to have one to take away their advantage.

I have the money, but i just dont care enough to do it. Yeah i hate that RS pitch speeds make me look silly, but i don't want to play on a monitor, i love my 65 inch TV. So i will forever be a 500-600 player.

They made hitting harder in DD? Who the hell asked for that? Now I will never complete a Showdown

What i love, is knowing nearly every player in the league.

So playing in the Newhouser event, i mean Signature event. Played a guy who started LS Morton at pitcher, i had SS Lester. As home team i am pitching, 1st batter flies out, next batter strikes out chasing, 3rd batter weak liner to SS.

I'm up, make poor contact with Carew for out. Jackie gets bloop single, i steal 2nd. , walker Ks looking, EE gets a seeing eye single between the 3B and SS, Jackie scores, Boggs grounds out.

The dude quits, ok fine. Well i don't allow people to message me, because well there are a lot of butthurt people out there. So this guy sends me a friend request with a message saying how i suck and get hits being late or early on pitches, while he is squaring up balls for nothing and that i rely on RNG. Basically the same stuff people here say. But is that my fault, why do you want to [censored] at me for you playing a game that isn't rewarding your superior skill.

All i can do is block him, but still sucks that people can circumvent the no messages by sending friends request

Still working on 1st inning, at least my 10th attempt. Super patient the whole way, still down 6-15 final boss. I am so patient Jansen is completely gassed with no confidence. I get to 14-15 with 10 outs remaining I have runners on 2nd and 3rd... I still lose 15-15.

Yes there was a triple play in there that got them out of it. Totally my fault for misreading the fly ball.

But did have perfect perfect fly from Helton die on the warning track and had way worse contact off of a gassed Jansen than I did full health Jansen.

I really, really, really hate this mode.

Vision is irrelevant. The important PCI is tied to contact and power.

Davis 5 tool player and his silver card crushed balls for me even with only 70 power. By far my first choice.

Yes, yes, yes. I really, really, really hate this mode. 2 hours work down the drain, not once but twice.

Hell let me pay 1000 stubs to retry the final mission, before making me have to go back through it all again.

If it's all or nothing, why does it have to be so long? Or have check points at each red mission so I don't have to go all the way back.

The game is supposed to be fun, this mode is not fun. It almost makes me want to play H2H online to get through 1st inning program instead of playing this [censored].

Yeah, more legends are needed, not these FS cards. I'd take a fake blown up version of any real legend over a fake blown up version of a player who may never make it to the show.

I am the best at being hit less or virtually hitless looking completely lost at the plate for the entire game until my last at bat when comeback code kicks in and i smoke everything to come back and either win or make it close.

Pitching on AS is about you, we can give you all the recommendations in the world, but if you don't know what you are doing, it won't matter.

Like someone said, exploit your opponents weakness, if they chase, throw out of zone, if they ate constantly waiting on heat, throw breaking balls.

Orel has the best horizontal movement in the game and great speed differential, in my opinion that makes him the best. However if my opponent doesnt know how to use him, i will light him up. Yet any one with big FB and slow offspeed if used right will shut me out.

Now wait a minute here, "a batter needs to have a way to slow down a pitcher" ??? A batter has absolutely no control over when a pitcher is to pitch.

R2 should not be allowed to stop anything, if you want time, call time, that is real baseball. R2 should still be able to display info, but not stop the pitchers meter.

This is what i want to know.

I swear every time i hit a HR with a card for a mission, i always have to say, don't dashboard me, dont dashboard me, because it happens so often.

I swear it is hard to believe how many infantile players there are in this community. The only reason to do it is to try to deliberately [censored] off your opponent, and for what? Because you gave up a HR? Especially sad in the Moonshot event where no lead is safe.

Anyone who is reading this and you dashboard, grow up will you. I have quit after a HR many times, even when playing against a cheeser who got super lucky or i got the dreaded inexplicable throwing a fat one down the middle. I wait until i can quit the game the right way.

I'd rather be strung up by my testicles than to play showdown ever again.

I'd say Ebbets is a real classic that is missing.
