They have no way of knowing this. If you can come up with that tech, that would allow them to know when that happens then maybe you can help them out.

I dont understand why the game doesnt just let the play carry out regardless of if the person quit or not. Shouldn't be that hard to do

A lot of games have harsh disconnect timeouts. Something like a 20 minute cool down for a disconnect wouldn't be unreasonable.

This is what i want to know.

I swear every time i hit a HR with a card for a mission, i always have to say, don't dashboard me, dont dashboard me, because it happens so often.

I swear it is hard to believe how many infantile players there are in this community. The only reason to do it is to try to deliberately [censored] off your opponent, and for what? Because you gave up a HR? Especially sad in the Moonshot event where no lead is safe.

Anyone who is reading this and you dashboard, grow up will you. I have quit after a HR many times, even when playing against a cheeser who got super lucky or i got the dreaded inexplicable throwing a fat one down the middle. I wait until i can quit the game the right way.

If you come out painting the corners, I will throw you meatballs and dashboard. It’s not just your stats that matter.

So I have quit before during a game, but I always allow either an at bat or inning to finish to completion because i understand those accomplishments are important. I've had a ton if people quit in the middle of my own homerun. I like people that quit early, because why waste time on a game that's over early

ironically, these are the guys who usually have "XBH and I Quit" and there name and msg you to help them boost. It's not only infantile, its entitlement also.

This in itself is the problem with morons that play the event. So you dont want to be pitched to? You just want everyone to throw meatballs all game? I really hope this was a troll post because if not, I cant really finish the statement due to the TOS

Nah, we just need to force everybody into the toxic online mode so that everybody can be miserable. Offline stat grinding, are you insane? People would just do the easiest thing possible, and saying "XBH and I quit" is not the same somehow..

They constantly gather data from online play, this could be why all these prestige player programs are online only, to encourage people to play online.

Possibly, I still think it's more likely the same scam Activision had with CoD putting people against players with the P2W weapons mechanic they had to try and sell more loot boxes. The idea is that if I play online and I don't have the best cards and get beat by the best cards that I will go into the market and open up my wallet because that better card that beat me will make me a better player thought process.

Oh no doubt this is a thing. Especially with how pitch locations and hit outcomes get more random each year, the quality of your cards makes more and more of a difference

I would be happy if the play would finish before the game ended, even if they left while the ball was in flight
