I never got to use Gwynn last year...but this Davis looks nuts. I already have Lodolo so kinda leaning towards Davis. Decisions....Decisions. What y’all think?

I’d go Davis. Worst case scenario you sell him.

Dawson. Davis low vision funky swing. He is good as long as you can hit with his swing and low vision. Good pci placement

I played the game casually last year. I don’t even think I ever hit gold level tbh. Just played against friends here and there

I'm going to be picking up that Gwynn card. I loved his card last year and even his 93 card this year has been great for me. I can't wait to try out this years 99 version.

Vision is irrelevant. The important PCI is tied to contact and power.

Davis 5 tool player and his silver card crushed balls for me even with only 70 power. By far my first choice.

I've been wondering if that Gwynn could send Reggie to the bench and put Tony in the leadoff spot. Already have plenty of thunder in the lineup.

Played two games with Davis and he’s killed it for me so far.

Last year I was trash with Davis for about 5 or 6 games until I got used to his swing, once that happens it's wraps. Go with ED forsure.

I did the Davis moment this morning where you have to get an XB hit and steal a base. I hit 7 straight home runs with a normal swing before bunting just so I could get on base. There was a part of me that thought he'd hit that out to. He crushes the baseball and I'm looking forward to trying him out later tonight.

I'm going after both. Gwynn might replace Lofton for me at leadoff.

OK so I have both, and have been using them in the event, trying to get a jump on prestiging them (yeah I'm a blood diamond addict).

They're both SHOCKINGLY good in my opinion. I expected Davis to have a useless tiny PCI against righties, and Gwynn to have no pop whatsoever. So far they're both over .500 for me, with identical AB/HR of 5.667. It's kind of insane how much better they both play than how they look, attributes wise. Gwynn is the most shocking to me. I figured he'd be a lineout factory for me like his previous collection reward card this year, but nope! He's killing it so far.

definitely want to get them both eventually but personally I'd go Davis first. That power makes up for Gwynn's higher contact.

why are we getting these questions about cards that are free and attainable with very little work? pick up both and use both. threads like these clog up the forums.

Some people don’t want to pay/grind for a card that is not great. This is kinda what the forum was made for

It is the moonshot event against all common pitchers. I'm sure they are good though.

Its because you are still under the impression that PCI is still tied to Vision. In years past Davis would have a small PCI. This year Contact is more tied to contact.
