Eric Davis or Gwynn?!?!
-
Last year I was trash with Davis for about 5 or 6 games until I got used to his swing, once that happens it's wraps. Go with ED forsure.
-
I did the Davis moment this morning where you have to get an XB hit and steal a base. I hit 7 straight home runs with a normal swing before bunting just so I could get on base. There was a part of me that thought he'd hit that out to. He crushes the baseball and I'm looking forward to trying him out later tonight.

Got Davis...never have used a card of his but excited to try him out.

I never got to use Gwynn last year...but this Davis looks nuts. I already have Lodolo so kinda leaning towards Davis. Decisions....Decisions. What y’all think?
I'm going after both. Gwynn might replace Lofton for me at leadoff.

OK so I have both, and have been using them in the event, trying to get a jump on prestiging them (yeah I'm a blood diamond addict).
They're both SHOCKINGLY good in my opinion. I expected Davis to have a useless tiny PCI against righties, and Gwynn to have no pop whatsoever. So far they're both over .500 for me, with identical AB/HR of 5.667. It's kind of insane how much better they both play than how they look, attributes wise. Gwynn is the most shocking to me. I figured he'd be a lineout factory for me like his previous collection reward card this year, but nope! He's killing it so far.
-
definitely want to get them both eventually but personally I'd go Davis first. That power makes up for Gwynn's higher contact.
-
why are we getting these questions about cards that are free and attainable with very little work? pick up both and use both. threads like these clog up the forums.

Some people don’t want to pay/grind for a card that is not great. This is kinda what the forum was made for

It is the moonshot event against all common pitchers. I'm sure they are good though.

Try them out and see how they play

Its because you are still under the impression that PCI is still tied to Vision. In years past Davis would have a small PCI. This year Contact is more tied to contact.

Davis bat is very quick and responsive. Hits the ball hard and far. 5 tool player. Bargain

Don’t sleep on Kaline. He’s smooth.
