If below 95? Wtf is this. I have to obey to the power creep. For shame SDS

Doesn't work for me because I use pci plus analog with stride. You start the stride. IMO this should be the only control setting allowed online. Same with pitching

Been an issue for 18+ years

Diamond Dynasty is THE MOST generous live series mode of all the sports games. It's not even close. It's ridiculously easy to get good cards and stubs by just playing the game. Stop being entitled and enjoy the game

"How would starting the creep lower make more cards useful? If anything that would make more cards useless faster.

In a power creep the vast majority of people are just using the latest cards. Everyone has the same "weaknesses" because it's whatever strengths and weaknesses of the latest batch are.

It honestly wasnt any different with the last format either, because it was essentially a mini creep. But the difference was when the sets or seasons or whatever they called it would roll over. I found those first couple weeks of each cycle more fun and something to look forward to. That's where you really saw strengths and weaknesses. More rating restricted wildcards would have been even better.

@Teak2112_MLBTS The "fodder" cards in the show are so much better than other games. Rookie cards, veteran, last ride and all that. There needs to be more uses for these cards

Who actually kind of preferred the season format for players from last few years? Power creep makes DD just like every other sports game team building mode (ultimate team my team etc). I'm seeing very little variety in lineups, as live series and other cool cards quickly become "obsolete". Plus we are already at 97s?

I would love to see ranked revert back , but add more wild cards that have rating requirements. Like instead 1 or 2 wildcards you have to grind for , you get three right off the bat but have to below 90. Then you get another 1 or 2 that are <93 etc.

Or better yet have a separate ranked mode with HARD lineup requirements, not the overall limit that is easily manipulated: 2 players <99, 4 players <95 , 6 players <90, etc etc

If I remember correctly, 2K had the multi platform exclusive licensing for MLB. Meaning they were the only company who could make mlb games across multiple systems. This was their answer to EA snaking the NFL license.

And 2K marketed the [censored] out if it, remember the million dollar perfect game promo they had with Justin Verlander.

But guess what? The game sucked. Dropping frame rates on every pitch, stupid hitting engine (late on inside pitches for oppo homeruns) and a whole list of glitches.

Was the analog pitching cool? Yes. But it was a gimmick that nobody would use online, because if you made a mistake in the motion (or the game registered one) you literally threw a pitch that was called "meatball" that was an automatic extra base hit.
