I'm so bored
-
Around like a month and a half ago, I decided to take a break around the middle of season one because I couldn't enjoy anything about the game. I returned to play this game a few days ago, I grinded the little content that SDS released for the start of season 2. After completing the content, I have never been so bored playing this game. I've been sitting in the Diamond Dynasty menus playing and experimenting with things, but I'm so out of it. Just hoping that the Retro All Star program is gonna be good

It’s ok some people don’t like baseball even if the is one of the best of all time.

Change things up.
Play with a 79 overall squad
No boosts
Classic Pitching
No curser
No strikezone visible
Auto fieldingOn Legend difficulty in Mini Seasons
Make 2 add drops at the half way point in the season and see how you do.
Enjoy

Just do 'Challenge of the week' until your hands fall off, or something.

@RazorForte45_XBL Thanks for the suggestion. I'll try that, sounds kinda fun

Nut up and play online

Today was the first day since the game came out that I didn't play. Felt good.

They are stingy with the amount of content and XP we can earn in order to protect the power creep. I don't remember their Innings format being this bad in that regard. It seemed like there was always something to do. The power creep was there but I never really paid much attention to my XP, like I do now. Innings naturally supported the power creep, unlike Seasons.
Bottom line, Seasons is a sprint, whereas Innings is a marathon. The reason they implemented Seasons in '23 was as a way for us to have "99's day 1".... Now that they have returned to the power creep, there is no reason to have Seasons.

The lack of program content has nothing to do with preserving the power creep. They just arent making content, for whatever reason. Is it to promote packs? Because some people complained last year had too much content? Sony cut their staff? They are working on a next gen version (lol)?

@Teak2112_MLBTS
They are not going to release many programs without offering XP. The more programs, the more XP.This year they stopped folks from earning repeatable XP in Mini Seasons and much of the Community was not happy with that. This is another example of how they are limiting XP.
