The second to last moment “Tally 7 bases” is supposed to be his first 4 hit game. Except it keeps only giving me 3 at bats... and he’s swinging a pool noodle can barely hit the gaps with perfect/perfects. GG SDS.

SDS didn’t put a 99 overall unhittable pitcher in the game available for free at launch! The last two years with Kershaw and Kluber were so annoying facing those two every single game. Happy SDS did away with that this year at least so far...

Let’s break this down since this seems to be a reoccurring theme that people don’t seem to understand. 1:50 does not mean for every 50 packs you are guaranteed 1 diamond card. 1:15 does not mean you are guaranteed a diamond in BIAH.

1:50 is a 2% chance for every individual pack you open. Translation = No bueno.

1:15 I’ll round up and be generous and say you have a 7% chance to pull a diamond in every BIAH pack.

Hope this helps some people on here with their pack addiction. Don’t buy packs. You get plenty of free packs playing this game. If you feel the need to buy packs just Venmo me bc more times than not you’re throwing away your money.

I find the only time I struggle in moments is when I’m being impatient bc they can get annoying that’s why I do them in small doses. If I’m patient at the plate I usually beat all of them first try.

This might be the dumbest post I’ve ever come across on this forum.

I see a lot of posts about how there are too many home runs and I’ve seen some crazy scores posted on twitter and what not. I don’t want them to touch hitting bc then we end up with a game like last year all over again.

I think right now the real issue lies in pitching and not just the pitch speeds although maybe they could use a slight boost but I’m not on HOF yet so I want to see how the game plays in RS up there. I think the real problem is control. It seems like every time I miss a spot the ball goes right down the middle. I understand you aren’t going to hit your spot all the time but leaving pitches down the middle every time I miss is what I think is leading to these insane scores. I think they need start with a tweak to control and see what happens from there. There’s also not a ton of dominate pitchers in the game yet.

Let’s not start yelling about everything so they patch the game to [censored]. Right now hitting feels good and rewarding let’s not ruin that.

right now PCI placement means nothing bc everything inside the PCI gets labeled as “ Okay” contact and the timing is all whacked out of sorts.

Was excited for this event but just did my first entry and realized it’s 6 inning games and everyone out of the bullpens are commons. This is going to be an absolute sh*t show and they expect us to grind 50-75 wins out of this??

I hate that team affinities are essentially locked behind Showdowns and MTO as the most efficient ways to grind through team affinities. I’m not even bad at Showdowns I’ve probably only failed a handful of times but just the fact that I’m going to fall behind on 75% of teams because I don’t want to spend all my gameplay time doing showdowns is somewhat annoying.

The stat missions should be repeatable or have progressions or there should just simply be more of them. I feel like online players get punished in the team affinities this year.

Nope they used to show you until it got abused and people would just stack all Lefty lineups and back out of games if there opponent had a lefty pitcher. They probably won’t ever put it back in the game.

I'm one game away from WS... Hit a two run homer with Braun in the first inning. Opponent offered me a friendly quit I declined obviously. Intentionally walked my next 3 batters and then stepped off and threw home... wouldn't you know he triggered a freeze off. Well I guess I'm sitting here all week because thats just Fcking stupid. I’m honestly happy they aren’t pumping out 99’s yet. I enjoy these lower tier diamonds it’s fun to play with them before everyone is stacked with 99 overall teams. Also yes, that Hanley card should rake. My infield is so stacked though I’m not sure what to do.

Yup. Impossible to pitch when everything on the black gets called a ball. The rate at which balls get hung down the middle of the plate is terrible. They didn’t need to fix hitting. They needed to fix pitching by fixing the strike zone, upping pitch speeds and making input matter more. That alone would have balanced out hitting.

I just don’t understand the point of having prospect cards and Future Star cards... also wish they wouldn’t rank these guys higher than a 90 lol

The lack of communication SDS has had with the community is the most frustrating part. If they would just start perma banning these accounts and scare ppl it would dramatically stop this from happening. The least they can do is put out a statement saying they will begin banning accounts who participate in these actions.

I've come on here to bring up something I think a lot of people are too scared to talk about and SDS is trying to hide and cover up the rampant use of PED users in their video game. If SDS wants this game to be taken seriously competitively they will address this post. Players should not be able to take PED's like Adderall while playing ranked seasons. It gives them super human abilities like the ability to focus and slowdown time with their mind and I know people are abusing it while climbing to world series.

I think SDS should begin comprehensive drug screenings on all diamond dynasty players. A way I think they could get away with it is if in the fine print of the agreement that nobody reads but always accepts they put "All players are subject to random drug screenings". Much like directional hitting I know right away if I'm playing a PED user they hit every ball even if I put it in the dirt its a homerun. Frankly, its ruining my experience and its why this game will never be taken seriously. SDS should hit these players hard with consequences first offense 3 month IP ban from MLB the Show servers. 2nd offense we send them to the harshest Russian gulag for them to serve 6 grueling months of manual labor. PED users in competitive gaming must be punished!!

This kid is always in here claiming someone is cheating. It’s never that his opponent is better than him. If he has a modded controller or was cheating how did he not get a hit in the first inning?

I mean obviously the best player I’ve seen live is Miguel Cabrera hundreds of time and I’m thankful for that. Best game I’ve been to sitting behind home plate during Armando Galarraga’ Imperfect perfect game. JIM JOYCE BLEW IT. I was in middle school or freshman in high school and wrote a letter to Bud Selig to get him to reverse the call. (He never responded)
