SDS didn’t put a 99 overall unhittable pitcher in the game available for free at launch! The last two years with Kershaw and Kluber were so annoying facing those two every single game. Happy SDS did away with that this year at least so far...

I hope it’s a slow roll to 99s in general too. I really think this game will be a lot more fun if we aren’t seeing 99s anytime soon. Plus it’s makes collection rewards besides Chipper, Ortiz, and Soriano, useful for longer.

I enjoy the game the most now. Before all 99 lineups.

Yea I agree. I like all the lineup variances people have and now with player parallels it really is going to make things interesting. I just got the event Miggy yesterday and the fact I can potentially get him to a 97 OVR is crazy and he might stay in my lineup a lot longer than he did in years past. The 99 OVR pitchers at launch were the worst thing they’ve done especially since they were the best two pitchers in the game those years.

I'm glad they didnt make 99s for Musgrove and Rodon. Everyone would already have 2x 99s in their rotation.

Parallel progressions this year are amazing! Such a great add and very thankful for it. I love that live series guys can get upgrades now and my favorite cards that stay in my lineup will be rewarded for playing with them longer instead of just chasing the next upgrade on the market.
I hope it keeps lineups fresh for everyone all year. When servers start working properly this years dd is going to be incredible!

Much more lineup diversity this year. The parallel system will help with that too.

Agreed, I wouldn't start trickling in 99s honestly till mid summer/all star break.

I don't really like that. Almost no pitchers that can match up with Chipper, Soriano and Trout.

When you get into the higher ranks of ranked seasons and are facing someone with collections done and you have a 86 or 87 overall pitcher on the mound what are you supposed to do?

    Pitch well...

Mix locations, tunnel your pitches etc.

I know what point you’re trying to make, but if you’re good at pitching, especially with pinpoint pitching, you can pitch effectively with SP that are 85-90 overall

I mean there’s still good pitchers you can use in this game. Especially with player parallels plenty of options. Having those Kershaw and Kluber cards available for free to everyone right away last few years sucked. Especially in ranked seasons having to play them every other game. Sometimes multiple games in a row bc it’s all ppl would use bc they were so dominate.

They need some pitchers (not saying they have to be as good as Kluber and Newhouser) in the game that can get guys out like Chipper and Soriano. The 42 Series pitchers are ok for doing that but there needs to be some pitchers that you can get early game that can match up with those guys.
