Silly rabbit, packs are for kids

For me I would like to see the teams taken out of players hands and teams made up of more theme teams. Teams comprised of all time players (that they have the rights to and then fill in players from the current team) from organizations to an all time greats team. I just don't like the hodge podge of players on a almost god squad that just slightly change from team to team.
Once again a personal complaint, not major issue, just something I would like to see. Wondering what everyone thought

I'll be putting MLB the Show 23 next to Madden 2017, which is the last Madden I bought. That's the feeling I have right now. Very underwhelmed with the "new additions" and honestly don't care about the female option in rtts but doing this while we've been screaming for that mode to be fixed for years is mind numbing.
RTTS is what grabbed me from the start with this franchise and over the last few years it's become a dumpster fire of additions that no one asked for and total ignorance of the ones we want. Fix the mode first, then you can add something that 1% of the fan base asked for.
Diamond Dynasty, out midway of the year. Only came back for the playoffs because my Rangers were kicking [censored]!
Well that's my thoughts for whoever cares and I'll keep an eye on you SDS to see if you ever pull your head out of it and actually fix RTTS.

Really crappy week for me personally. Played the mystery map, started opening the packs just hoping for something good to cheer me up and for the first time pulled Trout. Thanks to the pack gods for putting a smile on my face.

Lunch day 21 stubs and packs via TA and 1st inning

Stubs = 74k
Packs = 185 - TA/Show/Ballin/HL
Choice Packs = 2 - space pack/Live 85-89 choice

Lunch day 22 - FOTF program

Stubs = 13,500
Packs = 18 - Show/Ballin/HL
Choice packs = 1 - big dog

Overall it's not close a difference of 177 packs and 60,500 in stubs were available at lunch from 21 to 22

Inning 2 and Spring clean up

Inning 2

Stubs = 29k
Packs = 47
Choice packs = 2

Spring clean up

Stubs = 45,500
Packs = 69 packs
Choice packs = 3

After inning 2 is added MLB 21 had the following earnable amounts

Stubs = 103k
Packs = 234
Choice packs = 4

After spring clean up.is added MLB 22 has had the following amounts to earn

Stubs = 59k
Packs = 105
Choice packs = 4

Differences

Stubs = 44k net Stub in MLB 21
Packs = 129 net packs in MLB 21
Choice Packs = no net difference

Overall MLB 21 had more packs and stubs after 2 innings and TA 1 there is no dispute about that. To me the Stubs gap was closed pretty quickly and with the cost of cards this year's its not that noticeable really. The 129 pack difference is big and this could change either way as other smaller programs reward different amounts between the 2 games so hard to collect all the numbers.

I thing one big factor that has to be discussed is the release date difference MLB 21 released April 20th for early access compared to April 1st for early access so did SDS squeeze more in right away and now is spreading it out over more time, the next few programs will tell use this

I don't mind that they missed the time or that they are late. I do mind that they waited until the exact moment it was supposed to release to tell us it was delayed. They had to know that this was going to happen hours ago. I have been kind of planning my day around sitting down at 2:00 (my time) and playing.

Honestly before and begrudgingly still admire the Cardinals history, iconic players and multiple titles. In fact I hope they put Ted Simmons in the game soon. A perfect catcher for my all classic player team build!

Slow at work today so in these situations I find it fun to listen to Classic Radio Broadcast MLB. It has free radio broadcasts from as early as 1934 to around the 80s I think. Just a fun way, for me at least, to pass some time. The commercials are pretty funny also, although some broadcasts are iffy in quality, still pretty good.

With Rickey I can't hit water if I fell out of a boat with him and Pudge has been hit or miss with his cards. With Weaver I just don't think Angels all time great ya know, he was very good but never would've been my guess. Martinez was a dangerous hitter no doubt but more DH like Ortiz.
I always hated that they moved the Astros to the AL, they were my favorite NL team and I always dreamed of an all Texas World Series.

Pudge qualifies at second base...get crazy with the cheese wiz folks

Maybe players that are more defensive orientated will be more appreciated once the shift gets banned next year.
