MLB the show 21 vs 22 stub and pack differences

OK so I have dug deeps and though I would share what I have found in the stub differences to this point looking at packs Available in TA and the inning/feature programs

Lunch day 21 stubs and packs via TA and 1st inning

Stubs = 74k
Packs = 185 - TA/Show/Ballin/HL
Choice Packs = 2 - space pack/Live 85-89 choice

Lunch day 22 - FOTF program

Stubs = 13,500
Packs = 18 - Show/Ballin/HL
Choice packs = 1 - big dog

Overall it's not close a difference of 177 packs and 60,500 in stubs were available at lunch from 21 to 22

Inning 2 and Spring clean up

Inning 2

Stubs = 29k
Packs = 47
Choice packs = 2

Spring clean up

Stubs = 45,500
Packs = 69 packs
Choice packs = 3

After inning 2 is added MLB 21 had the following earnable amounts

Stubs = 103k
Packs = 234
Choice packs = 4

After spring clean up.is added MLB 22 has had the following amounts to earn

Stubs = 59k
Packs = 105
Choice packs = 4

Differences

Stubs = 44k net Stub in MLB 21
Packs = 129 net packs in MLB 21
Choice Packs = no net difference

Overall MLB 21 had more packs and stubs after 2 innings and TA 1 there is no dispute about that. To me the Stubs gap was closed pretty quickly and with the cost of cards this year's its not that noticeable really. The 129 pack difference is big and this could change either way as other smaller programs reward different amounts between the 2 games so hard to collect all the numbers.

I thing one big factor that has to be discussed is the release date difference MLB 21 released April 20th for early access compared to April 1st for early access so did SDS squeeze more in right away and now is spreading it out over more time, the next few programs will tell use this

As of now, yes there are less packs and stubs. Another thing you have to consider is that you really need to compare what comes out in 22 to the same time frame between TA1 and TA2. TA2 came out May 28. I think it will get to be fairly similar in the next 20 days, as the 3rd featured program will be out by then

Agreed and in reality I don't think we had the 2nd inning yet we would still be in the 1st inning this time last year.

My main goal is really to show that the difference isn't as egregious as many have tired to claim. Off the hop sure but many seem to forget that while we were working on the FOTF program in 22 we were twiddling our thumbs waiting for 21.

I mean they removed it when most people disliked it really.

I find it interesting that when you look at the numbers how no one wants to talk about how SDS throlled back the number of packs after launch in 21 but throllted up packs after launch in 22. But you know 22 is botty checks as you say

I wonder how many 99's they threw out in the first month in 21' compared 22'? Has to be a huge difference.
