I guess other player's reason to keep playing is that they actually enjoy playing the game. Shocking, right? I don't really understand your posts. Few days ago you wanted to quit because there's too much content left for you. Now you want to stop playing because you are "wasting time not grinding XP". Just play the game, if you enjoy it. If not then don't play it, it is simple

For one of the few times in the 25 years we've been married, I left her speechless. So, we just sat quietly with Netflix's "Quarterback" in the background and worked on a puzzle. That was way more satisfying than TA4. Finding a random piece and placing it perfectly? Just as good as a Perfect/Perfect.

BTW - if you haven't watched it, "Quarterback" is good. Even my wife likes it, so...

P.S. I'm sure someone at SDS is monitoring the game activity right now, and a red alert went up. "Why isn't arvcpa playing TA4? He always jumps right into the new content". They're probably using my MLBTS app to listen in on my conversations with my wife. "He's working on a JIGSAW PUZZLE??? Good Lord, what have we done with this "sets" thing?!?!".

They received 8 post season cards and they will receive more on Friday. There is your explanation. But I am sure they will receive finest cards too and then there will be a lot of complaints why we are getting the same players all over again

Alex Gordon played LF literally the position with the least defensive relevance. Stop acting like he was a SS he was actually a bad 3B with a good arm converted to LF. Dude had maybe 3 high quality above average seasons. If you can point to more please tell me. MOST of his seasons were garbage in a garbage team

To say that anyone could put up his Toronto numbers well he was the 4 hitter on. Steam with 2 HOF. Alomar and aging Winfeild. Are saying he is a product of Grubrr and Olerud. Also he was putting up the same number in Cleveland Yes he swing at everything and didn’t hit for a high average. He also stole bases and didn’t K a lot for a power hitter. I am not saying he was the greatest ever. Saying he was very good and better than Gordon.
Man after had a 9 season stretch of 30 homers 100 RBI and like 20 steals. Gordon wished he had one season like that.

Back to the topic. Pretty much the only player I am waiting for is SS Gossage. I don’t think anyone else will make my team. Maybe starting pitchers Hersheiser, Vida, Newhouser..

Ok troll if you are going to talk [censored] please explain my flawed logic. Nobody as insulting anyone. Not sure why you are bringing that douche energy. Here are the points to my argument please point to the one that is flawed

1. You should not use a single stat to determine players ability. You should use multiple stats. This is a premise used by real life statisticians

2. WAR is a very flawed stat. The inventor of WAR says as much. There are many poor assumptions. I am not alone in this MLB doesn’t use the stat. You can’t find an incentive based contract that uses it either.

3. Carter is better than Gordon in every offensive stat but WAR. By other less objective measures it still informative measures like all Star appearances and MVP finishes he is superior. These are facts

4. I concede that Gordon is a better fielder. However, I am saying that given LF is the least important defensive position that it doesn’t rally add to the case. Especially because most corner OF are there primarily because their offense. I don’t see how the statement is even controversial.

I am sorry, I will not play this game with you. Everything was said before by other guys here and as always you decided to ignore it or somehow make their arguments “invalid”. Just small warning to everyone who is stupid as me. Don't collect every card in stage 1, if you do that then you will have to grind almost 8k pxp with pennant chase program players to be able to complete the program. As I saw the collection in both stages I thought I will be able to collect them in both but nope. Oh well, I will not read notes next time anyway

This is impossible for normal human being. The easiest one is 10 times harder than kenley moment or final match in previous moments set. I guess I have to buy 95 Gossage again.

You gotta approach it with a different mindset, one that says "oh okay, these are tough but not at all impossible and I'm gonna slowly but surely complete them".

It’s nice to see that people willing to help are on this forum too. I have to say that I overreacted. I tried those moments and I am 4/7 missing only Green and Yelich moments (I was so close many times, I just need little bit of luck) and then the last game of course. I will have to practice a lot to get it done. I am quite good at pitching but those 5 homeruns are problem. The most I had was 2. It’s the first time I played on legend and to be honest I don’t think I would be able to hit 5 bombs even on hall of fame difficulty. Well well.. for the first time I will go to practice mode this year

By just completing showdown I got 14 pennant chase packs, after opening them I have 14 more gold cards, thanks

It absolutely is. Try subbing him in for the AS version so you can compare the stats between the 2. The AS is equal or higher on all but 2 stats I think. I guess some folks just assume if a card is released later in the game means it is better.

AS Acuna is 125/125 contact and 102/115 power

MS Acuna also has higher vision 116 compared to AS Acuna’s 111 vision.

Their speed and fielding is pretty identical

Milestone Acuna has better hitting attributes which makes him better since everything else is pretty much equal

He has probably AS card parallel 5 and milestone card parallel 0 (but even then I would not say with so much confidence that AS card is better). This is so confusing because everyone can see that literally every single stat except for contact vs left 123/125 is same or better (by quite some margin) on milestone card. Even reactions 87/82 or speed 95/90. He is correct about the other cards J-Ram, Adley etc. but definitely wrong with Acuna. Or he is sneaky and he is trying to lower the price of milestone Acuna

I will rush it, I am glad they will release this card. I am happy they are finally (little bit late..) giving 99s to legends that did not have decent cards. Definitely better than fourth 99 Mike Trout or Schwarber.

Exactly, I would say now is the best time to flip, I guess those biggest tryhards have all the cards they need so they left the market and it is very easy to make stubs now. (what I mean by that is that orders actually go through and no one undercuts me by 1 stub that often) I can easily make 300k per hour while watching netflix. For that reason I was not even crying all day when I realized that I lost almost 1m value of my cards that I bought on Sunday and Monday. I really thought that BR and RS rewards will keep their value. Clueless

And just little advice to Lady, I would change your method, it is not very effective this late of the year.

Then what are you waiting for? Just buy those remaining cards and enjoy Griffey. You will have some stubs to spare after that still. What is the reason to sit on 2,5M stubs now? Content is pretty much done, spend it and enjoy your new cards before this game ends completely.

I swear those posts are here every single year. Right now everyone is trying to flip (especially those biggest tryhards, those will have 48 millions of stubs in July) and that creates smaller margins. Don't worry it will get easier in summer as people will not care about stubs that much anymore and tryhards will have their millions already.
