I haven't even got one yet. Used Hayes in Battle Royale and couldn't get used to his swing.

I've been using Grandal. He hits bombs and singles because there is no way he is making it to second with his current 2 speed.

Offspeed stuff is effective again! Except against the AI. They tank every slider I slightly miss my spot on.

I've came up against 99 Ortiz twice in six games. Needless to say my gold Luis Castillo gave up some dingers.

Getting my first prestige hitter card this year was a good feeling. Jacoby Ellsbury will always bring me good memories in the Show now.

Gotta see their stats, but I believe it will have to be a middle infielder. Probably Marte or Goodrum.

Agreed with the above. MUT has nothing on DD. All the best cards can be obtained by grinding the game both online and offline. Just stay away from Showdown until you are decent at the game, that mode can induce rage.

96 Jacoby Ellsbury was in my lineup from whatever inning program he was in until I stopped playing 20. I really hope he is in the game again this year.

Pedro for the AL, Clemente for NL and Aaron as the main reward.

Gonna attack the rotation first. Base Castillo and Glasnow are high in the list for me.

Goodrum/Marte look like the guys for me. Switch hitting middle infielders early on are gonna be money.

I really hope for an obtainable 99 Mays this year.

Isn't that like the greatest feeling though? Knowing and actually feeling like your gonna get your moneys worth? Unlike other sports game u buy the game then spend more just to play it.

Absolutely. I know I am gonna head onto Diamond Dynasty next Friday and have a tough choice as to what I want to start grinding for. Any other sports game you basically just head to the store to buy packs so you can actually play.

I do all my cosmetic things first like team name and jerseys. This year that will include tinkering with a new stadium, I am sure it will be ugly as sin, but it will be fun to put together.

After that I'll spend the only 50 bucks I will ever spend on the game to buy a bundle of packs to help the squad get a headstart. Rip all those and get to playing. Excited to get going.

Max Muncy is a favorite of mine in ranked. I played a couple games earlier with just players I am good with/have enjoyed this year and had a fun time of it. I used this lineup:

Williams and Gallegos have been my best relievers. Nick Anderson gets rocked for me.

Change ups are to me. Cutters are a close second though. Both just seem to hang middle/middle and get lit up.
