This has happened to me multiple times in the past week or so and I bought my controller in the past two months. Has to be a glitch because if it was the controller then you would think the button that controls diving would also be randomly doing other things as well(like swinging) and it’s not.

I usually stop the bar when it gets to +/- 100 of where I am. So if I am at 660, I stop it around 560 for the low and 760 for the high
how do you stop the bar????
Hold the left stick towards the left. Push it right to speed the bar up and widen the range. Only works in RS though.

This is my first year playing as well. From what I’ve heard others say and it seems to make sense is that the top players have higher ERA’s because they are more often than not playing other top players in higher ranked games.
So even though playing on All-Star can sometimes seem like HR derby, if you’re playing weaker competition than you probably play a lot of people who aren’t great hitters if that makes sense.
This is coming from a player who plays a high percentage of his games on All-Star because of my own inconsistent hitting.

Close I got was 20-17 and Pearson threw 157 pitches... I suck
I just lined out with Prestige Walker and flew out with Prestige Mantle tied 20-20 with 98 speed Trea Turner on 2nd to lose. FML

So is there a trick to picking these people off? Or are we just all going to repeat we hate people taking a lead? Lol
Haha exactly what I was thinking. OP was clearly asking about that but everyone just jumped in with the “don’t take a lead” stuff.
Until trying DD this year I have always played offline vs the CPU. Sometimes I forget and just take the extra lead without thinking since I always did it in the past. I have been picked off at 2B at about a 95% rate when I forget and take that step and they go for the pickoff. Yet when my opponent does it and I try to pick them off he gets back. I’ve literally never picked someone off 2B and I just finally picked someone off 1B a few days ago. I feel like there is some kid of trick to pickoffs or a quicker way to get back to the bag then the normal controls.

That’s the way I feel about Tatis.
I’m a decent player in ranked. Bat .281 in 150 ranked games and usually clean up in events. All my hitters are over .300 or even .400.
With that being said, I’m batting .132 with Tatis Jr..
Banks is like .385 with 40 HRs for me.
Tatis is like 6 hits out of 40 at bats or something. That’s a small sample, but so dreadful I don’t think I can use him anymore.
I’ve been struggling with Tatis a bit too, but I am only a few runs from getting him prestiged so I hope with the fresh start with the new card I’ll be better. Don’t want to part with that defense and speed especially since I know his offensive potential is huge if I can figure him out.

It might be a glitch. I had over 10 hits with Nico Hoerner for the Cubs TA, and nothing happened.
That was the Nolan Gorman glitch. If you got hits with him it would count towards Hoerner’s hits in TA.

I haven’t had a huge sample size, but I agree. It feels better

I picked Foxx and bought the other two.
I’m loving Foxx and using him at catcher, batting him 4th between MVP Trout and Mike Honcho.
I already sold back Honus for a bit of a loss because I had a slow
Start with him and I have plenty of other options.I’m trying to grind Kenley in the Event for prestige stats, but so far I’m
Not a huge fan. Harder to tell on AS in a 3 inning event, but I’ve been better with my other pitchers. I keep 4 RH relievers and so far I’ve been better with Prestige Mo, Dibble and I just got Gossage who seems legit too. So if I keep Kenley he’d be my 4th RH option, so for 300 K it’s prob not worth it. Especially when they released some decent relievers in those newer cards(like RIB and Postseason). -
I haven’t looked in a little bit, but at one point I bought Eddie Murray PS card for like ~10 K and he was recently over 150K. Had him locked in to a collection too so couldn’t sell.

I’m pretty sure most people suggest using a swing of a card you do well with. I’ve also heard some say that if you make your CAP a Switch hitter than you should use a switch hitter’s swing(not sure if it matters).
I’ve had good success with Mike Honcho using the glitchy Yoan Moncada’s swing.

“not even close mate - i don't feel like watching someone elses HR in events - time to just reset - make a puff for myself - take a sip of coffee - there aint no rush
also i should add my lineup is not even arranged - just auto whatever the game is picking for my team - its speed and W's i am after in events”
If you don’t see that these two statements are completely contradicting each other than you are clearly too stupid to explain it to. Also, you’re not giving out any W’s when you quit when you’re getting beat. You were going to lose anyway toots.

i dashboard in events because i am rushing to get the Goose - if i am matched with tons of constant BR12-0 or WS guys, take the W please by all means - i will jump back in to play a lesser mortal and get W's as quick as possible
for RS - i never dashboard as that is a different format and game style
But it takes less time to just quit that particular game instead of reloading after dashboarding....

Lol you just completely contradicted yourself. You’re seriously reaching to try and justify your dashboarding, but the fact is it’s just childish. Someone is beating you so you need to try and get them back. Lame AF.

I’d say it’s definitely possible.

I just played my first true bunt cheeser. I guess I never really knew what it was because I’ve only played people who bunted with 1-2 players. This guy tried to bunt with every single guy in his lineup except Sheffield and Tatis. He dashboarded when I hit my 3rd HR. Also he picked Shibe Park.

I just lost a game on a check swing withTrout, with the tying runner on 3rd after a 12+ pitch AB. My check was half that check.
