Nope didn’t miss the point, your just making a complaint that is made every year about the “OP” sinker. They’re not going to fix it just like they didn’t fix it last year or the year before that or the year before that. Instead I would just concentrate on learning to hit the pitch. Btw, I used to be in your camp when it came to the sinker but I made a concerted effort to not allow myself to get beat with it. Now it’s go up there at your own risk. I’ll turn it around if you abuse it.

The point is, they’re trying to make this a realistic competitive sports game, gameplay wise anyway. There has never been a pitcher alive who was successful throwing high sinkers lol. It’s dumb.

How do you enjoy playing the game like that? I sincerely don’t understand. So please, if someone would step forward, admit they cheese at every aspect of the game and explain I would be forever grateful. The bunt cheese, baserunning cheese, pausing cheese, holding R2 cheese...I mean this game is annoying enough to play online, then you gotta get matched up with one of these losers.

Sometimes when I’m waiting for a pitch my eyes completely bug out and I miss the pitch. Does this happen to anyone else? I’m assuming it’s because I’m focusing too hard or something...

I heard them say specifically that they addressed the foul balls for online play this year. If anything, it’s gotten worse! It’s impossible to pitch online at the moment. Why is it possible to foul a pitch off that’s completely in the dirt or almost hitting the batter? This needs to be fixed.

It’s unplayable over 800 this year, I can’t believe it. Every pitcher has outlier…not even remotely fun to play ranked anymore. Kind of destroys the whole point of DD for me.

It’s a video game, if you don’t like him don’t use him. Let’s all get stronger as people, these things don’t have to crumble us to our cores. It’s a video game.

The game got exponentially worse after the last patch, it’s unbelievable. It’s completely impossible to pitch now.

You obviously don't know what you're talking about. I haven't spent a penny more on this game other than the game itself. I purchased him with stubs by selling Piazza and Judge + 7k stubs I already had at a purchase price of 89k stubs. After not having any success with him for a few games, I sold him back to the market at 106,850 stubs making a slight profit. With the stubs plus what I already had left over, I've replaced my catcher and RF with Rodriguez and Betts. Not that hard.

You go watch youtube. I didn't feel like watching one when I could just get a quick response from the Community.

Too bad you had to be such a grouch with your response that was unprovoked. Get some sleep and feel better.

Nobody said you spent real money on him. You're asking about a player most people aren't going to use thats been in the game for less than 48 hours. Not just MLBTS 21 but the game in general. And yea with all the glitches out, peoples first though when you ask about an inning boss 24 hours after its been released, you're gonna get people who think you glitched for him. Am I wrong? And I could truly care less what you do with you stubs or real money for that matter.

The weirdest part is instead of actually attempting to do anything... They just gave up, made it a meme, and gave an absurd amount of pitchers a sinker.

Now we are at 102mph sinkers with 99 break 99 control.

I totally agree with the pitch location nerf, or just eliminate the ability to aim it high, the low sinkers look fine, and work how they are suppose too, it’s a primary pitch for some guys that needs to be utilized, it’s just not a secondary pitch for the other 90% of pitchers.

100% the pitch is totally normal when it’s thrown low, looks the way it should. When it’s thrown high it originally looks like a breaking ball, and seems to speed up in a crazy way. I consider myself a good hitter but I look totally mismatched sometimes on those high sinkers, even at 93-94 mph. They don’t look right at all, I don’t understand why they can’t make a slight change to it. And honestly, not that many pitchers throw a sinker I’m sorry. They need to do their research.

There are several streamers/content creators that use it for FPS games. Apparently they think it makes them look good, but it's pretty obvious they're using it 99% of the time.

Whatever happened to just being a human being and not being perfect? Lol. There are some days I’m great at this game and some days I’m awful. It makes it more fun in my opinion.

It’s a matter of principle at this point.

I lost a game earlier on a walk off where I got the first two outs easily, 3rd guy up routine pop up in RF, fielder didn’t lock on, runner on 2nd then bloop single. I will not play the game again today.

Every patch that comes out makes the game worse, it’s actually impressive at this point.

I’ve played on both, I couldn’t tell the difference. So, I went back to my TV since it’s much more comfortable lol
