It was brutal, to be sure, but we'll always have 2016. They can never take that away from us.

I'm still playing RTTS, in 21. It's definitely more frustrating that I remember it ever being before, but for the most part I do still enjoy it. Hitting does seem more troublesome - my guy was rocking and rolling till he made the majors. Now, he's doing all right, I guess, but it just seems like a lot more of a struggle.

All I know for sure is that this was my favorite game day before yesterday. Now... I'm not so sure. Played another 9 innings tonight, had another miserable experience. If I wasn't racking up the XP, I'd have just quit.

Think I may have finally turned things around, I did a little better my last game. Hit a couple of homers and got the Quality Win trophy. This morning, I've consulted the Mecca of All Human Wisdom, more commonly known as YouTube, for some hitting tips. I'll have to wait and see how that plays out.

OK, I haven't COMPLETELY turned things around... but now at least, I do feel like I'm moving in the right direction. For PCI placement and whatnot, I found a YouTube video called How to MASTER PCI Control and Movement in MLB the Show 21! Tips from a TOP 10 LIFETIME PLAYER! by a user named OhChev to be fairly helpful. His plan for when you're really struggling SEEMS like it might be helping me get back on track. More on this as it develops.
Another piece of advice I've heard... although I can't remember just where at the moment is to Take until you've got two strikes. I'd imagine it might be wise to take this one with a grain of salt, just in case it's a "just me" thing. I... have a real problem swinging at horrible pitches that should DEFINITELY be balls, and this method seems to be helping me out there. If you don't have that particular problem, I don't know if this would do anything for you or not.
Like I said, I've just started to put these things into practice, but they honestly seem like they might be gonna work.. so I figured I'd go ahead and mention them here.

Past couple of day, I just haven't been able to hit to save my life. I play on Veteran, and mainly use normal swings, (break out the occasional power swing when I'm up 3-0, a rarity these days, and contact when I'm down 0-2 - far more common). Been tearing it up in both RTTS and DD games, (vs. the CPU). Until day before yesterday. All of a sudden, I can't buy a hit, and it's become a thing. Something does feel different.
Thought I had finally broken loose a little while ago, when I finally had Mickey Mantle go yard... but alas, it was right back to nothing immediately thereafter. Rough patch.

Think I may have found a simple solution to my problems in the batter's box: just switched back to Strike Zone 3, and put the Altitude thing back at the center of my PCI... and it seems my hitting is back to where it was. Just knocked off about four moments, one try each, and won a game with my Diamond Dynasty team 7-2, (Jim Palmer finished with 19 strikeouts, and batted 2-3. Game was on Veteran, which, for better or worse, is where I've usually been playing lately.
I've seen a lot of people say Strike Zone was the best, because it let you see the ball as good as you possibly could, but it seems my brain works differently, as Strike Zone 3, with it's smaller version of the strike zone REALLY helps me pick out balls from strike... which goes a long way toward solving my plate discipline problem.

I got this too... only with one win. I just... lost... 0-2. Hit two home runs, and gave up no runs total. This... is mildly frustrating. I'll probably lose enough games as it is without losing the games I win too!

Maybe the mini-season bug as well?

It truly is annoying. I'd like it fixed, please.
