Mine just says “an error occurred!” every time I try to view a card.

How can flipping work better when it takes ten minutes to put in a dozen orders?! -
They’re just intentionally inhibiting/discouraging people from flipping. They just did updates, which should improve it…unless their intention was to make it slower!
-
Ever since May 22 content came out it’s been basically unusable. Literally takes greater than ten times as long to do anything

@TripleH-4481_PSN
My first year was ‘22 and I’ve always been NMS. Here’s when I competed LS collection each of those years:‘22-Aug 27
‘23-July 7
‘24-June 20
‘25-June 19
-26-not yet, but hopefully by May 31I didn’t even use the app to invest/flip for LS collection until ‘25. Flipping is still doable. Not sure how much time those guys spend on the app to flip but I can see it being done. I also have a family and often don’t have time to flip. My biggest pull was JRam. I haven’t done the math but i may have been able to do LS by now if i hadn’t pursued other collections. Still just need the big two with over 300k. Good luck to you and all NMSers!

I’m in this exact boat, too -
@SpecialFrosty_PSN
Is this post just for funsies? Or is one of the missions to be unlocked include players wearing #7? -
@Nounou47_NSW
I’m also on the switch. Hitting went somewhat back to normal for me after update 7. If you’re right, then that’s disappointing (and ominous) since I wasn’t going to get back into it much until inning 3 starts. Got Bobby doerr and paused progress until it matters again. -
I only have one entire division, and I did notice the automatic collection. Didn’t notice the stubs at that time, though.

Hours: 95
Hits: 660
Doubles: 106
Triples: 4
Homers: 85
Runs: 355
Walks: 6 (Mr. Swings-at-everything!)
Steals: 125
K: 1137
IP: 527
Wins: 143
Saves: 100 (Max)
PXP: 173,028Putting this as a reply to @capardo_xbl because our pitching (Ks, IPs and Ws) are approximately the same…and because I’m a straggler! I’m clearly worse offensively (especially walks and HRs). I also play offline and at veteran (more rookie this year because I’m struggling a lot). Last year (toward the end, at least) I could score closer to your runs/inning rate on veteran against the CPU. Hopefully as power creep proceeds I’ll get back to that point.

If you want Ohtani to bat and Ohtani is the current pitcher, switch your DH into a position while your team is in the field in the pause screen under substitutions. It will give you a warning that you’ll lose the DH but Ohtani will then be both pitcher and batter. But make sure the position you’re putting the DH at is in or near top of the lineup (or coming to bat soon) or you might have to take Ohtani out (due to fatigue) before he even has a chance to bat in a short 3 inning game. Unfortunately, if you do this any new pitcher that comes in for Ohtani will have to bat. Super awkward to do it this way, but I think I explained it right.
If another pitcher is starting, you can select Ohtani to pinch hit in the pause screen under substitutions when the DH comes to bat. This is the better option because I don’t think you can do it when Ohtani is pitching or has already pitched in the game (hence the previous longer explanation).

@capardo_XBL
I’ll eventually get Doerr and not much else. Kinda weird that you can get him for under 5k right now! Makes the whole inning XP path seem pointless. Hope they put more and better rewards and/or give better ways to earn XP in the 3rd inning path. -
They HAD to do this. Before it was such a bad look with the ABS irl and the game showing pitches halfway in the zone called for balls
-
If I understand it right, balls and strikes will be called the same. The box (which only appears before the pitch is released and after it arrives) appears smaller so that the same pitch calls match the real baseball rules where clipping the zone counts as a strike. Nothing really changes except the perspective and box for reference

But they DID bump regular app users at least once already this season (presumably for the same reason) and some of us got caught in their broad sweep -
@On_a_Power_Trip_PSN
Let’s just hope they don’t ban regular people who just because they flip a lot without bots. didn’t they disable some people’s app access earlier this season for that? -
Ok, right now I see 89 orders for 35012 and 85 for 35011 for the same card. Hard to believe that five different people put buy orders for that exact amount and another five different people for the other amount. That’s the kind of thing we used to see before the limit of 20. But how can that be now? Are stub selling sites with multiple accounts using the same exact amount on the same card? And a competitor doing the same thing trying to undersell them?
Another card has 122 orders for 15002. Very, very fishy.

@Ditka06_MLBTS
Earlier you said “you do you.” Why can’t you just leave it at that. -
@TripleH-4481_PSN
Exactly my point! Requiring showdowns or making only one possible path to finish programs was bad enough. But making players go online when offline is their jam is another. The Mexico City program situation someone mentioned is a perfect example. That and the Seoul program used to be a normal program you could complete online or offline. Now it’s predominantly an online event program. They’re trying to make everyone participate that way.
Are they banning innocent players again?
