I’m assuming this is an AI response. Gemini maybe? Something to consider is that maybe that this AI response is wrong. Not sure I agree with that verdict. Words matter. When you use such vague terms like “better achievement,” you never know what you’re going to get with AI. What the heck does “massive aura of authenticity” mean anyway?! Yes 400 saves is a more exclusive club but there are 9 batters per team and just one closer per team. There are going to be way more players with 2,500 hits than there are closers with 400 saves so the 400 save club’s exclusivity is not as meaningful as AI thinks it is. Also saves weren’t recorded and pitchers weren’t managed like they are now throughout Major League history. All of this makes players with 2,500 seem commonplace compared to 400 saves but I don’t buy it. I’m not going to look into this now but I’d like to see how many players whose career started after 1980 have 2,500 hits compared with post-1980 closers with 400 saves.

I have considered that, too. What would that mean for someone like Mookie Betts, though? Would make his Egg Hunt card more meaningful but only for a short time. A lot of people skipped that collection because investing in a 92 when the card is irrelevant (except for collections) is not worth buying. Might be better just to make all versions of a certain player supercharged.

The real crime is that Chili is a Yankee. Spent most of his career with the Angels and other teams but the Yanks get another 99. Yes, I know it’s a milestone, and he played for the Yankees at the time of his 350th homer, but are other 99 options for less represented teams.

You’re right. They would have to already have enough that qualify as a broadcaster or a manager to make a new card series big enough to make it worth it. But egg hunt is only 8 cards. It doesn’t have to be that big.

In some other thread, someone suggested “at the mic” or “ behind the mic” series for players who became broadcasters or commentators. Orel Hersheiser, Joe Morgan, etc.

How about the Skipper collection for players who became managers: Frank Robinson, Dusty Baker, Mike Scioscia, etc.

I just want to play the game and flip when I can…not research how reCAPTCHAs work and make extra efforts to maintain those scores that I didn’t even know about before today!

Same boat here. Just worried that my normal habits will trigger a ban or some penalty. I like playing offline and flipping on the app. Don’t really want to have to learn about a reCAPTCHA score to enjoy the game

So a bunch of human beings who use the app regularly are going to be caught in the dragnet

I still don’t understand what it means to improve my score. I guess that it’s a way to provide evidence that I’m a real person instead of a bot, but I’m being told to use AI to research all this and “work to improve [my] reCAPTCHA score” to be able to use the app. Really?

Sounds like a lot of hoops to jump through just to do what we should be able to do normally

Whenever the goal is reached, it counts toward that inning’s reward path. I think that’s how it works. I suppose that as as soon as the regular season is over, you would get the XP for making the playoffs.

Anyone else getting this message on the app? Haven’t seen it for awhile. After the bans today I would have thought all that wouldn’t be necessary anymore.

At work and reading all this. Not going on the console for a few hours. So if I can’t see my stubs in the home section of the app and I can’t even access programs/collections and lineup, does that mean I’m probably banned?
