    Agreed on the Jin Kim captain.
    Or at least let Rube Foster boost any player who played in the Negro Leagues (not just the ones from storylines)

    Only moments. Lame-O!

  • markemark_NSWM markemark_NSW

    Anyone remember when SDS used to say “play your way” or “ finish programs your way”? Haven’t heard that in a long time.

    No missions. Only moments. Womp womp.

    I turn off zone hitting and use timing or directional when I face a knuckler

    Same here. Agree 100%.

  • Extreme Program
  • markemark_NSWM markemark_NSW

    Don’t they usually have missions with cards from the extreme program? I remember having to parallel Kerry wood up to five one year and getting 100 base hits with some batter another year. Can’t they put something big like a few hundred TB with Buxton or Ks with Clemens? Or something repeatable other than 40k PXP? Otherwise I’ll finish just in time for the show ’26 (or never)

    I only open packs on the app now. Saves so much time.

  • MINI SEASON LEVELS
  • markemark_NSWM markemark_NSW

    @PapaRick68_MLBTS
    The mini season lineups you face will be better than the live series teams you play against on CPU and conquest. That makes it somewhat harder, but I think leveling is the same.

  • Why are rookie and veteran so hard this year?!
  • markemark_NSWM markemark_NSW

    I can’t be the only one who noticed this. Making it somewhat different from one year to the next is fine, but these levels are too hard. My skills can’t have diminished this much in this short amount of time since ‘25. I’m swinging too late on rookie level all the time. I don’t mind finishing programs significantly later than the better players but this is just too restrictive. Hard to accumulate enough stats to complete TA in a reasonable amount of time at this rate. Maybe I am the only one. Anyone else out there who plays on veteran and rookie that is as frustrated as I am?

  • markemark_NSWM markemark_NSW

    @Ledfoot_19_PSN
    Gave CPU a try. Definitely disappointed. With myself, I guess. Could only muster 5 hits and one run in 9 innings on rookie! I can’t grind for TA by scratching out runs at that rate. They definitely changed the speed or something with rookie and veteran. I have a hard time believing that I have gotten so bad on the easiest level when just a month ago in MLBTS ‘25 I was scoring over 10 runs in 9 innings on veteran! It has to be what they have changed about these levels.

  • This game is way too hard for beginners
  • markemark_NSWM markemark_NSW

    Before this year, both rookie and veteran were appropriate difficulty levels for new or lower skilled players. I’ve been playing since ’22 and was never great, but I could win 95% of 3 inning games on rookie and veteran and definitely more than 50% on all star offline against CPU. I think it’s two main things: pitch speeds and balls out of the zone. Now I’m swinging too late on rookie level way too often. And on veteran the first two pitches used to be almost always in the strike zone, which is why almost all moments were on veteran in the past except extreme ones because no one wants to walk or be hit by a pitch when you need hits to complete the moment. They should change rookie and veteran difficulty back to the way it was or change those two things (pitch speed and too many balls).

    See, this is a constructive response from a different kind of player than me without lording it over worse players. Thank you.

    @theBlindRhino_PSN
    It’s not just about easy or hard. It’s about accommodating different types of players. A lot of people are disappointed because their kids were excited to start playing and the leveling gave them a place to start. And some experienced players have hit a ceiling skill-wise. What’s the point of different difficulty levels if they’re making lower ones so hard? If you’re a good player and not wanting lower players to have what you have, then you have to realize that we (yes, I play on rookie and veteran) already complete programs and earn rewards much later than you because you 1) accumulate stats faster, 2) get PXP multipliers on higher levels, and 3) rewards are so much better playing multiplayer online, which lower level players don’t do (or do less often).

    @GoozeFn_PSN
    The real question might be whether SDS will listen to people like me or listen to people like you (if they listen at all). If they listen to people like you, then they will be chasing a lot of customers away. If they listen to me, then they will be accommodating a greater number of players at different skill levels. Does it really bother you that lower level skill players play offline and finish programs weeks (sometimes months) after you do?

  • I thought the market bot posts were wrong
  • markemark_NSWM markemark_NSW

    Ok, right now I see 89 orders for 35012 and 85 for 35011 for the same card. Hard to believe that five different people put buy orders for that exact amount and another five different people for the other amount. That’s the kind of thing we used to see before the limit of 20. But how can that be now? Are stub selling sites with multiple accounts using the same exact amount on the same card? And a competitor doing the same thing trying to undersell them?

    Another card has 122 orders for 15002. Very, very fishy.

  • How about extending double XP?
  • markemark_NSWM markemark_NSW

    @capardo_XBL
    I’ll eventually get Doerr and not much else. Kinda weird that you can get him for under 5k right now! Makes the whole inning XP path seem pointless. Hope they put more and better rewards and/or give better ways to earn XP in the 3rd inning path.

    Sidenote, question: do you really need to play the spring breakout showdown four times to complete the spring breakout collection? Sorry if this was already in another thread.

    I wonder if the same ones taking the owners side are the same ones who always defend SDS devs.
