Thanks everyone - I'll chill at 99% and hit it when TA4 becomes active. I'm a no $$ player so need to scrape every bit I can get

Been stuck on the 2 XBH one for ages and have been thinking that I must be the most terrible player ever. So am glad to have come on and seen this here.

I did the other one and was cruising. I pretty much only needed 2 hits and 1 HR with 3 games to go but then never got the HR (and forgot about the dashboard option).

It was LS Grandal and he is absolute king for me. Love him.

But now I've hit the level 1 Silver and grabbed Posey. So....that's C locked away for a while.

Would love to get that FotF Santana as a switch hitting bench bat that can play C if needed, but I'm happy with Grandal doing that for now.

I'm sure I'm not the first to have a rant about this and won't be the last.....and I'm usually not a ranter but just can't help myself here.

Without fail in the moments where you're not allowed to give up a run the CPU will make the most basic of fielding errors to either put you in danger or kill you in the moment altogether. Has happened before but just then was beyond a joke....in the complete game shutout Eck moments and the CPU gave up the most basic error to allow on base. Then pretty much next play the CPU throws the ball into the stands on a simple play where there is nothing on......player scores and moment is over, start again.

FFS.....ridiculous.

How do I adjust this. I zoomed through Spring Training level for Ranked Seasons but now can't hit anything. I assume this is because the pitch speeds / level adjusted from something simple like Veteran to higher.

I literally can't hit anything....I do play on a TV (turned to Game mode, which doesn't seem to help at all).....and so I am exploring monitor options. But it would be nice if there are other tweaks that can help before going down to that router because I'm not really a massive gamer. While not being a huge gamer I'd still like to play this online without it being a waste of time because I can't touch anything.

Eckersley Evolution card gives you a 93 closer, Kerry Wood and Amir Garret programs are easy and give you two 85 setup arms, Charlie Morton 86 from the classics pack gives you the perfect long man. All free.

You should be able to see a separate section now for the prestige player programs. They’ve tidied it up a bit by separating the two in menu.

I honestly stink at hitting as well. But I’m getting better. People say to practice in practice mode but I just can’t seem to get myself to actually do it due to all the other things to do in the game. I’ll tell you this much, I bought a gaming monitor and it’s helped immensely with timing.

I agree with what you're saying in terms of practice mode....I've been told to work on things there but am too buys trying to grind all the various things in DD.....but seems maybe I need to bite the bullet and just practice to get better.

I currently play on a TV and it's relatively old so I'd like to think that is part of my struggle.....but part of me worries that if I get a monitor I'll find out that it was me that is just terrible all along, haha. I’m not much of a gamer either but I have been playing the Show since 17, mostly offline since I’ve never been too great online. But have been playing a bunch this year due to quarantine so decided to purchase a monitor (use it for work also so it was kinda needed anyway). The games been more enjoyable and I don’t get blown away by fastballs as easily as I used to. Worth the purchase IMO if you plan on playing the game a bit.

You sound very similar to me. Not a big gamer but a big baseball fan. Started playing in 18 and hooked now. In the past I was mainly an offline player but want to start getting better online. Spend enough time playing that it probably is worth trying a monitor rather than continuing to waste my own time being bad. Thanks again for the insights.

I'm similar in terms of keeping a MTO paused until stage 3 comes out. My only worry is if for some reason MTO isn't part of stage 3 earning. Surely it has to still be in there right?

you should be able to use all cards that you collect. you may be confused with cards that you exchange, which are cards that you no longer have.

Yea, I agree. no point cutting off my nose to spite my face. But I had also seen people saying he's the one awesome card that they keep struggling with. So those two things combined pushed me off him. Are they wrong? Is he the go to guy here?

Had someone awesome last year but unfortunately he's not available.

What’s the criteria for prime time 2? Buy yea, I’d say worth using and prestiging him.

Just wondering if they've clarified how they are going to do roster updates? Are they still going to limit diamond dynasty rosters to 40 or expand to the full 60 player pool?

I'm one of the players that still has about 5 teams to go in the live series collections so am keen to understand how this might impact that....

I love Grandal cards in this game. His live series rakes for me and so I can't wait to get this one. The only thing that annoys me (and others have mentioned) is how bad his speed is. I don't think I've ever seen a version of his card with speed above 10.....yet the dude stole 5 bases last year. Even if he was 20-30+ speed he'd still be slow but it'd be a lot more playable (and realistic).

Just looking for some guidance on if/when we might be able to expect a market crash or even a bit of a dip?

I've probably saved enough stubs to afford the top LS guys and complete the LS collections now but given I'm a no $$ player I need my stubs to go as far as they possibly can.....so if there is a chance for a dip in prices just around the corner I might try to wait for that.

I know there are usually dips around the timing of flash sales, holiday promotions or release of significant new content so am just wondering if any of the market experts or guys that have been playing the game for years might have an inkling as to whether I can expect this anytime soon or whether I just bite the bullet and spend all my stubs now?

Guessing this might have been covered in a recent stream......and apologies if this has been covered elsewhere on the forum but I'm a combination of swamped at work and too lazy to sift through...

So have they clarified the requirements for unlocking the August POTM? I'm assuming that it is a purely collection thing based on the section set up in Collections....and that once the cards are named there will be someone matching each tier along the player path? Or is this still guess work and there could possibly still be a missions/moments component like previous months (I much prefer that to "collect $$$ worth of stubs)?

If it is all collection based is this to suggest that you'll need all 24 for Tatis and so he'll essentially cost $200k+? Any chance these cards will become available through other means (i.e. purchase packs, program path, conquest etc.) and the cards will go down to around quick sell, or more likely they'll sky rocket once Tatis is named?

Again, apologies if this has been covered but I'm struggling to find the time to keep up with all the content updates so any guidance would be super appreciated.
