@SpecialFrosty_PSN I used to love the variety of events a few years ago. Theme teams (restricted lineups), quick counts, all star and Hall of fame difficult, low power (as well as moonshot), etc. One of my favorite memories was hitting a walk off HR with Jackie Robinson in a "low power" event in Forbes field.

I'm getting depressed. I still need so many cards for the Miguel final card. The St. Patrick's Day Trout has gone parabolic (almost 135k on the "buy now"). It will cost me over 125k stubs to complete the Egg Hunt series. I finally finished Jackie and the WBC series, but that set me back somewhat.

I guess I just sit on my hands and wait for a Flash Sale. NO, NOT A STUB SALE. Ugh.

Where are you guys at via collections?

I waited until today (5/19), afternoon and thought "oh, the Gausman Showdown will be fine by then."

Again, I was wrong. Wow.

That said... I'm only two cards away: Judge and Ohtani . So... about 1.3 million stubs. I'm focusing on other collections at this point, as those will be worth more to me than Tulo, Felix and Pujols (and Manny, Dustin, Nettles, etc.).

I mean, it's been nerfed a little every year since I've been playing. 5 standard packs for everyone!

I've completed the LS every year since I started DD in 2020, usually by May. I don't see how I'll do it this year without pulling Ohtani or Judge. I have over 600k in stubs, but I'm focusing on the other collections at this point. Feels weird, though.

I'll be honest. I really thought the folks on this forum who are complaining about "bots" were making this up.

I went to Showzone to see if there was anything worth flipping. I haven't done much flipping this year, but I had some time to kill while waiting for my daughter-in-law to finish her first Ironman (she finished - pretty amazing).

I digress... So, I start putting in some orders on some high-margin home run calls, and I'll be damned if every time I put in an order, 5 seconds later a bid came in 1 stub higher. Over and over and over. I just started laughing.

So, I'm now in the "bots exist" camp. Sorry for doubting you.

Now, I'm going to do a little research on crop circles.

I think I had issues with that. If I remember, there's a setting when you can "invert" the joystick movement and I was able to complete it. Maybe I'm remembering it wrong... I'll take a look when I log in later.

So... I went into "Settings", "Camera", "Axis", and turned on "inverted" for both. Plus, this moment is weird as you have to move the left stick to catch the ball, then the right stick to aim for the throw.

I was on the other side of this... I loaded into a game, the screen froze for 30 seconds, got the "lost connection with opponent" message, but I was credited with the win. Sucks for the other guy, but I got my lowly 5 pack with a LS Buxton card. I'll take it, but it felt dirty.

Well, I'm down here in Bronze II land. I only played a few RS games this cycle.

Game 1: I was the away team, playing in a weird created stadium with really short walls and pouring rain. First pitch, down and in fastball to Mikey, and popped it out. He disconnected mid-air.

Game 2: Loaded into game, waiting for it to start and... "Lost connection with opponent". Another win!

Game 3: Retired my opponent 1-2-3 in the top of the first. In the bottom of the 1st, I scored 5 runs and he quit. At least he let my last HR land.

Game 4: First pitch of the game, my opponent throws a fastball right down the middle, my new Elly card hits a perfect/perfect HR, he quits before it lands.

I'm 4-0 and haven't played a full inning yet. The leaderboard in my group says 4 wins, 0 losses, 5 runs scored. I'm the best player in the world!
