New conquest coming today that has a repeatable mission for 20 Show packs. Thats a W.
Definitely a W. I think in the old days the USA map was repeatable for 20, and I count 11 teams on this map.

Ooooffff... sorry, @dolenz_psn
Prime Ted Simmons, as a Cardinal.
Plus... another switch hitter. Weird, as we just had Santana as a Chase pack (switch hitter, Catcher secondary).
I'm getting that tingly feeling that a Flash Sale is coming today. Or, it could be a pesky rash again. Possibly both.
The main thing is its really a continuation of last years model:
I agree. When this year started, I thought... "OK. We're going to get the same basic overall model as 2025. So long as they beef up TA and fix the things that are broken, I'll be OK."
Well...
They didn't fix the things that were broken (I'm looking you square in the eye, mini season stats. BTW, I'm in the 20th game of my CityScapes 9-inning mini season, and my guys have all played 177 games. Are they moonlighting? I didn't put that in their contract).
They broke things that didn't need fixing (User interface/menus).
They keep making the online program worse. I do enjoy online play from time to time, but smooshing (?) together online modes into a single multiplayer last year wasn't a great decision IMO. Then, to limit Events to "part time" this year? Yuck.
I'm still playing, but my hours are down from last year. I used to play every night before bed. Now, I'm watching "Love is Blind - Paris" with my wife. God help me.
@MarioMendoza935_XBL You do you, but playing 9 is just more play for the same rewards.
True. But there are some decent "repeatable" rewards. For example, there's a "Cityscapes" pack for every 10k pxp's. I can get one pack every two games. I can quicksell my inevitable duplicate for 4k. If I open 200 packs, that's 800k stubs and gets me LS Ohtani. That's only 400 games, which at 45 minutes apiece is 300 hours.
If my wife sees this post she'll murder me...
Their attention is on their Mobile game release, not this one.
I am so annoyed every time I open the app on my phone and the splash screen screams at me "PREORDER THE MOBILE APP!!!"
I will not. I just want to log in, see how poorly my investments are doing, cry a little, and then go on about my day.
I went with 9, with no real reasons.
I play this game a lot. I've been playing DD since 2020. And... I do most of my mini-season games on 9 innings. I load up a team where I need to complete a goal. For example, to complete the Jolt series, I'd set my offense to one team only, and pitching to another. Same goes for Topps Now/Spotlight goals.
I know someone will take my head off, but... "Play your way"
I'm still way off from the Live Series and Cabrerra. This year is definitely harder to complete collections. I feel the "hamster wheel" as well.
Like this?
Of course!
@SpecialFrosty_PSN I used to love the variety of events a few years ago. Theme teams (restricted lineups), quick counts, all star and Hall of fame difficult, low power (as well as moonshot), etc. One of my favorite memories was hitting a walk off HR with Jackie Robinson in a "low power" event in Forbes field.

Every date except 2025. Looks like August is a good guess.
I mean... They used to have events 24/7. Such a weird change.
@Dolenz_PSN If there only was a way to compare this card to his LS card...
I know, I know. I think it's in July. @savefarris_psn will know.
I'm getting depressed. I still need so many cards for the Miguel final card. The St. Patrick's Day Trout has gone parabolic (almost 135k on the "buy now"). It will cost me over 125k stubs to complete the Egg Hunt series. I finally finished Jackie and the WBC series, but that set me back somewhat.
I guess I just sit on my hands and wait for a Flash Sale. NO, NOT A STUB SALE. Ugh.
Where are you guys at via collections?
I waited until today (5/19), afternoon and thought "oh, the Gausman Showdown will be fine by then."
Again, I was wrong. Wow.
Even if you pull a Skenes, you would need to pull him around 12 times. What are the odds of that?
Infinitesimal. I've always wanted to use that word here in the forum.
That said... I'm only two cards away: Judge and Ohtani
. So... about 1.3 million stubs. I'm focusing on other collections at this point, as those will be worth more to me than Tulo, Felix and Pujols (and Manny, Dustin, Nettles, etc.).
and they’re all like 60 and couldn’t spot a AI video if their Medicare depended on it
I resent that. I'm 62 and I can spot an AI video. I think.
Wait... What's AI?
Shark map!!!!
If they nerf the Shark Map this year...
I mean, it's been nerfed a little every year since I've been playing. 5 standard packs for everyone!
I've completed the LS every year since I started DD in 2020, usually by May. I don't see how I'll do it this year without pulling Ohtani or Judge. I have over 600k in stubs, but I'm focusing on the other collections at this point. Feels weird, though.
I'll be honest. I really thought the folks on this forum who are complaining about "bots" were making this up.
I went to Showzone to see if there was anything worth flipping. I haven't done much flipping this year, but I had some time to kill while waiting for my daughter-in-law to finish her first Ironman (she finished - pretty amazing).
I digress... So, I start putting in some orders on some high-margin home run calls, and I'll be damned if every time I put in an order, 5 seconds later a bid came in 1 stub higher. Over and over and over. I just started laughing.
So, I'm now in the "bots exist" camp. Sorry for doubting you.
Now, I'm going to do a little research on crop circles.
but man sometimes you wonder.
It's unfortunate, but I've started to think this way.
